This is Alabama, folks...
I'm sorry folks but I have reached an epiphany of obvious consequence and I can't keep quiet right now. On May 23, 2021 (just over a month ago) a city-driving motorist tried to turn right (no signal, no look) onto a perpendicular street FROM THE LEFT LANE, right while I was passing causing me to swerve and slam thru a curb totaling my beautiful '18 Nissan Altima SR. That idiot driver saw what he did, stopped, and then drove off never to be found. Luckily three witnesses stopped and gave statements to the officer which absolved me on the spot.
Since then, my nerves have been hyper sensitive to pick up on inattentive and illegal maneuvers of other vehicles and let me tell you....its been darn near maddening! Cars/Trucks blowing through stop lights long after the light change, etc... Just today one person in front of me who was so short she could barely see over the steering wheel was all over the road. Some obviously mexican woman stopped in the lane to let traffic turn when she had a long, clear right of way. Some other obviously mexican 'chap' decided he was going to use the center turn lane as a 'speed lane' to get to his destination parking lot while I was in that turn lane flashing my headlights at the b@^#!&d and leaning on my horn. This is no joke. This is real and I know that I am not alone!

I am thankful I have never lived in a town with a population over 70k.
Places like Milwaukee you do not need license or insurance - when stopped you get ticket which falls out of an open window as soon as the cop is gone - there is no prosecution. Not worth the systems time as they have too many cases of multiple times offenders to release on their own without bail. Very heavy work load to make room for real offenders like conservatives and such.
That is why many insurance companies insert ‘uninsured motorist’ coverage in most policies — unless you specifically decline it.
You are subsidizing them, since many of them are ‘uninsured motorists’.
Come to eastern Washington where nearly every fatal car accident involves a Hispanic.
Just yesterday 2 of them died when they drove off the freeway.
NEVER run a GREEN light.
Never let them know what you intend to do by using direction signals, they will cut you off.
There is also the more common Stealing A Left.
Either maneuver can be performed from any lane.

Doubt it’s illegals although possible. People are just idiots when it comes to driving. They text, talk on phones, eat, look at shxt or maybe they’re playing with themselves.
Speed limits around my neck of the woods in the country, in the mountains and only 2 lanes are 45 or 55 for the most part. We get vacationers all the time. Their main speed limit is 10 - 15mph under the speed limit until there’s a passing zone then it’s 20mph over just so you can’t get by.
If there’s a curve they’ll slow even father, up hill in a 55 is 30 if you’re lucky.
I’m tempted to run them off the road for being idiots.
I’ll pass on a double yellow just to piss them off and then they’ll stay up with you doing the speed limit.

Yup. Yesterday a middle-aged woman was observable fiddling with her phone and smoking a cigarette while getting on the freeway. Obviously she was too busy to be bothered with driving while she was behind the wheel.
Welcome to my world. I live in AZ and this has been happening here for decades. The only two accidents I have ever been in were caused by illegals who fled the scene.
We are used to the drunk driving, the failure to yield, the last minute lane changes etc etc.
I’d say you’ll get used to it but you won’t.

Here in Texas...making full U-turns at the base of a viaduct or over the double-yellow lines is A-okay.

Turning right from the left lane = standard Atlanta move. Two more are gunning for the exit ramp from the second or third left lane, and turning left from the straight only middle lane and gunning past(or trying to; sometimes they sadly have to fall back) the passenger side of the driver in the left turn lane.
Always drive defensively! Head on a swivel and eyes constantly scanning for the Mr. Magoo contingent.
