Nancy Pelosi refused to answer a question Thursday about Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar standing by her comparison of the U.S. and Israel to terrorist groups like Hamas and the Taliban and saying her Jewish colleagues weren't 'equal partners in justice.
'Earlier this week, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar was on our –' a reporter started to ask before Pelosi interrupted her and waved off the question.
'Well let's stay with this and I'll answer that afterward,' Pelosi said, but never got back to the question before walking out of the room.
The House Speaker appeared to want to keep the press conference focused on her announcing the panel for the select committee probing the January 6 Capitol attack, which included the appointment of lone Republican Liz Cheney.
Omar told CNN this week that she does not regret comparison of the U.S. and Israel to internationally recognized terror organizations – after previously walking them back.

The White House on Wednesday distanced President Joe Biden from Omar when asked about her comments.
'Any attempt to draw an equivalency between the United States and our close ally, Israel, with a terror groups like Hamas or the Taliban, is false and unacceptable,' Press Secretary Jen Psaki said during her daily briefing. 'Those are certainly not comments that we've made from here.'
Psaki did however defend Omar and insisted she did not mean her comments.
Omar has faced furious criticism after she appeared on CNN with host Jake Tapper and said she didn't regret the comparison she made in June comments.

The only thing keeping Muslims Democrat is their shared hatred of Jews and Nazarenes.
Muslims (excepting Somalis and black converts) are generally very capitalist. All are pretty socially conservative.
