I didn’t see if this humorless assclown watched Blazing Saddles. Maybe a few episodes of “In Living Color”?

Sounds like the author doesn’t speak Jive.

The esteemed author. Bet he makes absolutely wonderful company when watching not only Airplane, but Blazing Saddles, Silver Streak, M*A*S*H (during it's first one or two seasons), All in the Family, Sanford and Son, Dukes of Hazzard, and other wonderfully objectionable material we got to grow up with, lol.

He probably doesn’t even know that this movie spoofs the Airport series of disaster films of the 70s.

So if one said this was his/her favorite movie, would he/she now be considered racisss? Asking for a friend....

Watch them dissect Blazing Saddles. Will they recognize it’s not a racist movie? It’s the opposite, it outright mocks the racist characters and they are the butt of the jokes.
To: Red Badger
This person’s bio says he has made a few short films, and that is all he will ever do. He wouldn’t know the true comedic value of a film if it bit him in the *****.
Undercover Brother is the same kind of film as Airplane, but written with the producers and directors mostly being black, if not totally black. And they make fun of the whites (and women) and make it personal. Guess what, it is just as funny from the other direction and I do not take the white jokes personally.
I cannot answer for women.

I think it’s easy for people to dismiss this as being a “product of its time.” I agree, but that doesn’t excuse the racism No, what excuses it is the fact that it's not an issue but the author is making race the issue. It takes a racist to make race an issue. The author is a racist.

I think the “not understanding jive” joke could be interpreted as making fun of the whites as well as the blacks.
To: Red Badger
So Ebonics isn’t really a thing? An elderly white woman being up to date on ethnic slang isn’t absurd? Good to know! I believe the two black actors ad libbed all the “jive.” You wouldn’t want cultural appropriation!
How about the movie that Airplane! was derived from, Zero Hour! starring Dana Andrews?
Or does that get a pass since it was set in Canada . . . ?

Nathanael Molnár is additional proof that liberalism is a disease, a sickness of the mind. They see goblins lurking under their beds and everywhere. Things are so scary for them they needs masks and desire lock downs. It helps them cope.
