No, what excuses it is the fact that it's not an issue but the author is making race the issue. It takes a racist to make race an issue. The author is a racist.
As are Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Maxine Waters, all of the Congressional Black Caucus, the “civil rights movement”, Black Lives Matter, academia and nearly all establishment media.
I’m not trying to pigeon-hole these people (as they do nearly everyone they attack).
It simply seems self-evident to me that if you frame every issue and argument in racial terms, you are, by definition, a racist.
