When I was a zookeeper we had someone cut the chain link fence around our deer lot and several escaped.
Our boss had us hide beside the path and at the same time we each tackled a deer.
That was a first for me.

So, circa 1995 a large white tail buck somehow managed to get into an Ashland, VA furniture store in mid day.
Quick description and outcome...
Bull in a China shop. The deer had to be destroyed.
