Even a robot programmed to “follow the science” would throw up his hands in despair while reading the latest FDA COVID pronouncement.
After untold numbers of people have been given antibody tests to determine their COVID status, the FDA now states:
“Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a safety communication informing the public that results from SARS-CoV-2 antibody tests should not be used to evaluate immunity or protection from COVID-19 at any time, and especially after the person received a COVID-19 vaccination.”
Boom.

That’s an unnecessarily complicated sentence, but it seems natural infection reliably produces antibodies where the authorized (not approved, as if responsibility ever mattered) vaxxines, even if they produce any antibodies, will not show positive test results for antibodies.
Corollary: Post vaxxine “breakthrough cases,” while sounding extraordinary, are commonplace, just as post-vaxxine negative antibody test results would suggest. Therefore, our test results show that vaxxines don’t really work. There is protection with cases of a history of natural infection, however.
Exactly how I read it, as well.
Maybe these govt agencies will reverse themselves right off a cliff.
Always reversing, revising, simply to fit their agenda/goals.
15 years, huh. That’d make it Covid-2004. Well, she could be correct. Who knows how long Gates and other monsters have been planning this.
She’s only off by a decimal for those fully vaxxed. It’s 843 million or 10%. But good for her in mastering Common Core Math for humanity.
To be sure, she is probably a lovely person.
Why assume the robot is a he? That’s sexist! Smash the patriarchy!
Yes, very hopeful that t-cells will cause long lasting immunity, and some evidence for that from Sars Classic. Unfortunately the only way to know for sure is to wait.
But if its the t-cells that are providing immunity, that is another argument that antibody tests are not reliable.
A better test would be a $45 vitamin D in blood test.

We have seen very few reinfections, but as time increases since the first people got Covid we may start seeing more.
Yes, we have seen very few "reinfections". And those are probably false positive tests. And of course that contradicts your first statement. The data doesn't show "weak antibody response that is likely to fade over time". The data shows so far that antibody AND T-cell protection are so far so good.
And there also T cells. Immunity is not just about antibodies. Antibodies fade over time but the memory of an infection is retained in the T and B cells which martial a defense to a repeated infection.
The focus on antibodies alone is making me nuts. They’re using it as a reason to keep jabbing people to crank the antibody count up.
Meanwhile no one can tell us if the vaccines give T cell immunity. I tend to think not because only the spike is vaxxed against, and there are no other proteins in the mix.
Yes, this.
Sure that study has some good indicators, but there are a few limitations:
*It shows immunity lasts for at least 7 months, that doesn’t mean immunity is permanent.
*Of the people studied, a quarter of those who had been infected did not produce the long lasting immune response.
*The long lasting response may have been conveyed by multiple exposures. Similar to a booster shot, at the height of the pandemic many people were exposed to Covid multiple times. As the pandemic fades this will be less common.
At core we have good hints at long lasting natural immunity, but until time has passed we can’t know just how long lasting and how universal that immunity will be.
” results from SARS-CoV-2 antibody tests should not be used to evaluate immunity or protection from COVID-19 at any time”
Of course not. They want to force you to get the vaccine.
In other words, the FDA is saying, “Look, the vaccine creates specific antibodies against the spike protein, not the virus. If you take the standard antibody test after vaccination, it’ll be useless, because the test isn’t meant to detect antibodies against the spike protein. It only detects antibodies against the virus [2].”
So the test for antibodies only works for people who have developed immunity the natural way?
The reason for skepticism at at long lasting natural immunity, is that this doesn’t happen with respiratory viruses.
The flu, the common cold, other coronaviruses, none of them provide permanent immunity. We can catch the same strain many times over the course of our lives.
It’s only blood born viruses (chicken pox, mumps, measles) that tend to give decades long immunity.
COVID may be a special case, and we all hope it is, but if it behaves like it’s close relatives an infection won’t protect you for life.
“The core issue is we still don’t know how long lasting Covid immunity is.”
We also do not know how long-lasting or truly effective the vaccinations are. We do know that the antibodies produced after Covid infection often are not detected after a few months, but those infected will show t-cell immunity. One will have to take a special blood test at this time to detect the t-cells, but it is worth the money to show this kind of immunity. It is known that those infected with the first SARS 2003 virus showed continued t-cell presence 17 years later. This will likely occur with this new similar SARS virus-COVID19.
The shots are a sham.
Excellent rundown!
The answer to that should scare you.
I think your reading comprehension is compromised, or that you are biased.
You seem to have missed the money line from the Publication.
“ Overall, our results indicate that mild infection with SARS-CoV-2 induces robust antigen-specific, long-lived humoral immune memory in humans.”
How could you miss that???
