It is good that there is a warning about possible connection with the vaccine and pericarditis and myocarditis. Infection usually occurs during warm summer months. In most cases, coxsackievirus infections cause mild flu-like symptoms and go away without treatment. But in some cases, they can lead to more serious infections if untreated. That’s why you should be looked at by a doctor. Treatment will speed the recovery and protect you from worse complications—even if caused by the vaccine!
