Thank you for posting.
Ping!
I’m really surprised this doesn’t happen more often. Especially from those with bad intent.
A woman attention whore. Yep.
Fled the scene, fled owning up to responsibility for her actions because negative consquences await.
She will be caught.
She will cry a lot and say meaningless words. She will probably blame others for what she did. No one told me not to do this, its the race organizers fault....
Idiots will defend her and she will not be held to any serious consequences. Because vagina card.
Cycling needs better social distancing.
I STG there’s a Tour d’Freak story every week. Does the Super Bowl get this much coverage?
The entire crowd thing has always been out-of-hand. I stunned each year that this does not happen daily. More DA’s attend the TDF than any sporting event.
So what did the sign say? Surrender Dorthy? Kilroy was here?
that lil sh1t might’s well dig a hole, crawl in, and close it behind him...
Was it an Assault Cardboard Sign or just a plain old Cardboard Sign?
What was written on the sign, “méfiez-vous des panneaux en carton”?
English Translation: “beware of Cardboard Signs”.
I don’t read French, what does the sign say?
I hope justice will be served and I just thank God she was not holding a “Trump Won” sign.
Yay! Social media! So awesome!
There was another similar crash and pile-up latter that same day. Competitive cycling at this level is inherently dangerous and pile-ups like these are not uncommon. This was not that big of a deal. If it were, the spectators would be kept off the road.
Eeew. I’ve had road rash in the past when I’ve wiped out on my ten speed. I feel for the cyclists. Taking a shower with it stings like hell for the first couple of days.
Does anybody know approximately how fast they are riding at this point?

A couple thoughts on this.
1.) If I caused a thing like that I’d run my a$$ off, too, and I’d still be running. That’s just a cold, hard fact of which I am not proud.
2.) I completely understand one does not hold obstacles before bike riders, but it appears this individual was looking the wrong way, as was the first bicyclist who hit the sign. Both were oblivious to what was about to unfold.
