France, Germany and Italy, among other countries, now advise only one dose of vaccine for people with a healthy immune system and a confirmed previous diagnosis.
Studies show that people with previous exposure to SARS-CoV-2 tend to mount powerful immune responses to single shots, and gain little added benefit from another injection. What’s more, for people with immunity gained through infection, one dose typically boosts antibody numbers to levels that are equal to, or often greater than, those found in individuals who have not been infected and have received double doses.
...That’s where diagnostic antibody testing could help.
Screening for antibodies to the hepatitis B virus is already routine in some settings to guide vaccination strategies against that infectious agent — and the same could be done with antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, a marker of both natural and vaccine-induced immunity, says Viviana Simon, an infectious disease specialist at Mount Sinai and a signatory to the EBioMedicine letter.
“When in doubt, I’m all for a second dose,” she says. “But I personally hope that we can move eventually to more personalized schedules and recommendations.”

If you have had Covid and recovered, no “vaccine” will help. You have immunity.
There are far higher risk of dying from the Vaccine than from Covid, unless your immune system is compromised.
Evidence has been building for a while.

One vaccine dose for prior covid:

Vaccination cards/proof should be modified here to equate prior covid as the 1st dose and not force people to get an unnecessary 2nd dose”
The key words are “ an unnecessary 2nd dose”.
Of course vax cards are just silly. It’s “containment” or “herd immunity” or nothing.
The question “is a single jab even necessary for people who have recovered from Covid?” never seems to get asked in these articles. Curious.
NO shots is a better choice. At least for me. Still firmly in the “pay the price” column.
A few recent studies mentioned here:
https://twitter.com/profshanecrotty/status/1408186201257828356
“... Reported natural immunity protection against any SARS-CoV-2 re-infection ranges from 81-99.8% over 7-8 months (1-3,5) (though a concerning drop was observed in persons > 65 years old in Denmark (4)). “
“None doses” is the correct answer, if you’ve had covid.
T cell immunity is long lasting.
No population on earth ever had more than 20% symptomatic infection, that I can find.
Even the floating petri dish, Covid Princess, never had 20% get covid.
Why?
The only explanation I see is that there is long lasting T cell immunity in a large percent of the population.
Being exposed allows these people to update or “perfect” their immunity - the majority never knowing they were exposed. This is how herd immunity is built.
It’s unnecessary if you’ve had COVID.
When I was tested for antibodies 8 months after a mild case my AB was 2500. According to the lab any AB count above 0.7 is immunity.
What does a covid recovered body show for AB levels after 1 jab, after 2?
So what does an uninfected body show for AB levels after 1 jab, after 2?
If these numbers exist I have not found them.
As an aside, my GP told me that my -19 case was so mild because I had recovered from a bad bought of 'Asian Flu' (fever, aches, nausea) about 30 years ago. He said that flu was actually called covid-sars-1 medically.
I don't know if that's true, but I do know that I have not had a flu shot since 1997 and have not had the flu or anything worse than a cold since that case of the Asian flu.
I had covid and recovered without medical attention, but later I did have blood work confirming that I had it.
I assume I did not need the shot but got the one does J&J yesterday. This way at my job I won’t need to wear a mask in the common areas, etc. Agree it’s stupid, but I just did it anyway. This way I won’t have any issues with anything the family might want to do, and also the thing at work.
I’m fine btw, my arm was a tad sore this morning, but feeling OK now. However, if I keel over, blame Biden!
This is how it’s going to go:
Annual Covid flu shots for all
Semi-Annual Covid flu shots for all
Quarterly Covid flu shots for all
Monthly Covid Flu shots for all
Weekly Covid Flu shots for all
Eventually, all will be mandatory if you want to leave your home for any reason.
The pockets of politicians, vaccine patent holders & manufacturers and the likes of whatever ‘Fauci-Wannabe’ that pops up aren’t going to line themselves now, are they? ;)
That depends on whether you die or not. 😆
Well, up until a few minutes ago, that would have the baseline assumption. If someone has suffered the disease and recovered, there would be no need for a vaccine for that disease.
There are exceptions, of course. Things like tetanus need a booster every few years, and if you had chickenpox as a child you might want to consider the shingles vaccine in your later years.
But the idea that you should be vaccinated for a disease you just beat a few months ago is brand spanking new. A serious investigation of why that is would be in order, if we had any real journalists left in the world.
None is enough for me.
If you had COVID you don’t need *any* doses - you are already immune. You already have had the spike proteins in your body...and in much more abundance...the vaccines produce...makes zero sense to take a vaccine if you had the infection. It would be like taking the Pfizer vaccine a few months later after you took the Moderna vaccine or vice versa. Too soon to know if immunity is for a lifetime for either infection or vaccine. But certainly not within a year.
I’ve been taking the flu shot - had a very severe case of it one year before I started getting the flu shot...but I didn’t go take it that year after having already had the flu. That would make no sense.
