.. Several respected health experts have questioned the CDC’s resistance to adjusting its guidance this week for adolescents and teens:
Dr. Marty Makary, a professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health, accused the CDC of misrepresenting the data and said children should be given just one shot to lower their risk.
“Why does a 300-lbs man get the exact same drug dose as a thin 12-year old girl?” Makary asked on Twitter.
Dr. Monica Gandhi, an infectious disease specialist at the University of California, San Francisco, says young men 18 and older should seek out Johnson and Johnson’s vaccine, which is different from the more widely used Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines and not linked to heart inflammation. The J&J vaccine is only authorized for those 18 and older.
Boys 12-17, she said, should consider delaying the second Pfizer shot 8-12 weeks instead of the recommended three weeks, waiting longer if they live in an area where virus cases are low.
She argues that acknowledging the risks of side effects will “increase trust in public health.”
The World Health Organization has concluded that “more evidence is needed on the use of the different COVID-19 vaccines in children to be able to make general recommendations on vaccinating children against COVID-19.”
“Children and adolescents tend to have milder disease compared to adults,” the WHO says, “so unless they are part of a group at higher risk of severe COVID-19, it is less urgent to vaccinate them than older people, those with chronic health conditions and health workers.”

How would we know?
Hasn’t it only been approved for 12-18 since May and a month later they’ve already had to put a warning about heart infamation in younger users on the package?

Some people questioned said they would have rather had fought COVID than suffer the after effects of the vaccine and then too, it’ll be in your system for life.

My guess is the same comorbidities associated with heart inflammation are there for those who get Covud abd these who get vaccinated.
In other words obese and/diabetic people tend to get heart inflammation.
Viral infection or vaccine can potentate it.

I never thought I’d hear statements like these. Covid vs vaccine is not a “which is worse?” decision. Vaccines are supposed to help. Period.
But they can’t end this for teens, because then their credibility is gone, and the booster use will drop to 20% (elderly).
CDC is just evil.
They’re also a vaccine patent company....they hold 58 patents for vax’s coming down the pike.

Covid was a can o’ corn for my family and I. I understand others’ immune systems weren’t equipped as well as ours. However, we’re naturally immune and paid very little for it.
My children won’t get this vaccine. My wife won’t either.
and yet the majority of CDC physicians REFUSE
the DNAoperatingSystem for themselves and THEIR CHILDREN.
why? reconcile with the CDC royalties from this.
Bullshit CDC. They make it up as they go along. It’s getting on two years and we still don’t know anything for sure. It’s always an abundance of caution. We’ve got caution coming out of our ears. It’s already proven empirically that vaccination is more dangerous than COVID itself. Practically no-one under 20 has died of only COVID ut at least one person under 20 has died of being vaccinated.
I wonder if younger males who identify as females are at a lower risk? Gender is not biological, you know.

By far most humans are asymptomatic even when exposed to the virus.
Young people have close to zero probability of dying from coronavirus even when exposed to it.
