Rank-and-file boosters of communism don't tend to do so well once the Reds have taken over.
As the Marxist revolution oozes forward, I occasionally wonder what will happen to the useful idiots when the commies seize absolute power in this once great Republic. I believe that most AT readers are familiar with the term, but for those who need a brief refresher, a useful idiot, as defined by Wikipedia, "is a derogatory term for a person perceived as propagandizing for a cause without fully comprehending the cause's goals, and who is cynically used by the cause's leaders." In my opinion, this definition can be applied to a majority of the young, brainwashed radicals who have no idea about the true history of Marxism...or the real history of their native land that they're working so hard to destroy.
We're all aware of the current props being used by the radical left to further their cause — LGBT issues, racism, feminism, slavery, etc. — but how will some of those props fare under a Marxist regime? It's difficult to research racial politics in China and Russia, because no nation — especially communist countries — has nearly as much racial and ethnic diversity as the United States. But the fate of the LGBT community and feminism is another matter. While several websites make vague and inconclusive references to gay and transgender rights in China and Russia, it appears that feminism and homosexuality — and certainly transgenderism — are simply not tolerated.

they’re not allowed to exist - if they find/catch you, you’re imprisoned/killed. Due to the state of their prisons, killed is likely the preferred option.
AOC seems like the perfect example of someone who will end up holding the whip (unlikely: not smart enough) or someone who will be terminated with prejudice for failing to perfectly spout the current Party Doctrine.
They’ll be rewarded with some apparatchik job and they’ll be fine…simply because they’ll stop complaining. Look at how the “feminists,” who theoretically worked for women’s equality in sports and other areas, are now falling all over themselves to scream that it’s the realization of their dream that biological men be allowed to compete against biological women in sports. Or even that biological men be allowed to compete against real women in beauty pageants (where the drag queen look has clearly won).
Woe to the woman who says otherwise. They cancelled the author of Harry Potter and several sports figures for the mildest dissent from their new orthodoxy.
As for gays, even their organizations are now into declaring “gender fluidity” so that actually it doesn’t matter. In other words, being gay as a category will simply fade away.
People like them move from orthodoxy to orthodoxy, always being guaranteed a space at the table as long as they adapt, no matter how much it may conflict with their earlier screaming orthodoxy. Rarely does the power in control need to show its iron first to maintain that control with people like that. In fact, they often become enforcers themselves.
The communists have always had purges over purity tests.
I hope the Cuomos and Romneys are first.

The problem with progressivism is you’re never pure enough. Even Robespierre, Marat and Trotsky were found to not be pure enough. When the time comes people like AOC will be next in line after the media and academia.

They will learn how useful they were and what idiots they are.
A true Marxist regime is always hardest on its own supporters.
Most conservatives will see what is coming and get out of town. Like the White Russians we will be forced into exile around the world, or perhaps we could have our own Taiwan (Alaska?) that can hold out as a free land of refuge.

In a previous article, I laid out the case for China rising up as an existential threat to America and everything it stands for.
I posited that, under the current regime in Washington, we are already under a loose form of occupation by the Chinese Communist Party.
One thing I did not get into is China’s relationship with another key world power, Russia.
The Russians and Chinese have a long history of conflict and there is still much enmity between the two. But make no mistake, they will align themselves for the purpose of taking down their common enemy, the United States.
