New Calculator Can Predict Risk of Being Diagnosed With Dementia

You can count on Canadian researchers to build a calculator that can predict your chances of developing dementia.

Researchers at the Ottawa Hospital, the University of Ottawa, the Bruyère Research Institute and ICES developed an online calculator empowering people over 55 to understand how they can reduce the risk of being diagnosed with dementia in the next five years.

This is the first tool designed to predict dementia, which refers to loss of memory and other thinking abilities that interferes with daily life, on a population level.

Four years ago my mom was fine or appeared to be. Then dementia and totally unable to care for herself. She died last year. During the campaign, I knew what was wrong with Joe Biden. I saw it everyday. It is horrible.

It's just a simple algorithm based on the answers to a few questions, a "yes" to any one of which indicating you're doooooomed. Simple questions such as:

But what if Joe (or more likely Jill) doesn’t want to go? If a President objects to being removed it takes a 2/3rds vote in both houses of Congress to make it stick.

You are not mocking or making light of anyone’s problems. Sometimes, speaking from experience, we will downplay our specific issue as it seems petty compared with others, BUT TO US it is not.
