The ex-wife of assassin James Earl Ray, who killed Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., is facing animal abuse charges in Tennessee, where dozens of neglected dogs were found living in her filthy home, authorities said.
Police in Jackson raided the ramshackle property owned by Anna Sandhu Ray, 74, on Monday and uncovered a house of horrors where 44 dogs were found living atop piles of trash or caged while soaked in their own waste, according to national nonprofit Animal Rescue Corps.
At least three dead dogs were found in the house and the stench from “dangerously high levels” of ammonia gas produced by the floor’s thick coating of animal feces was so pungent, it could be smelled outside, ARC officials said.

Animal hoarders are some of the saddest people. And mentally deranged.
Two words and they are white and trash.
From 2016 ...
“[Anna Sandhu] Ray, born in the Unicoi Mountains of Virginia in 1946, began painting at age five. She was working as a television sketch artist for James Earl Ray’s prison escape trial when she met the confessed assassin of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The artist and James Earl Ray married in prison in 1978. The couple divorced 14 years later in 1992.
“Being involved with James Earl Ray ended in my being afraid for my life, and I went into hiding for many years,” Ray said on her website. “In this time I found myself falling deep into depression and found myself painting for many hours per day to keep what sanity I had left.” ...”

Her paintings are better than 90% of what passes for art now a days.
Mental illness.
You would never believe how pretty she used to be, back when she married James Earl. Why she chose to marry a man accussed of a most infamous murder, we still don’t know.
She needs to be under care and constant monitoring.
Runs in the family. Just a joke.
“Anna Sandhu Ray, 74, “
Surprised at young she is, I always feel like MLK era was far in the past.
But looking it up, King is five years younger than Jimmy Carter. Without James Earl Ray he could well still be alive today.
Yes, many were/are very nice.
“Without James Earl Ray he (Dr. King) could well still be alive today.”
Footnote: Members of Dr. King’s family met with Mr. Ray in prison toward the end of his life.
As I recall he told them he did not kill Dr. King and the family present said they believed him.

One wonders what organization could have carried out such a plot?
Just the kind of classy person who would have good health and hygiene habits and avoid disease. Or would she promote unhealthy practices to try to make other people sick?

Better than Hunter Biden’s crap.
She probably meant well, taking in homeless animals, at least at the start. Then obviously lost control of the situation due to her apparent mental illness. She would have to have been undergoing some very serious depression and/or mental illness to let things slip that horribly bad. 3 dead dogs were found in the house, among all the other insanity.
Lol! Many times better than anything crackhead Hunter could do!
