An energy currency is a means of reserving and transmitting energy and anhydrous ammonia (NH3) is the ideal energy currency for green electricity. In the human body, ATP (Adenosine TriPhosphate) is often considered a biological energy currency because it can either be consumed or stored, depending on the body’s needs. With respect to renewable power, an energy currency is basically the ability to put electricity into a bottle so that it can be stored when there is a surplus and used with there a shortage.

We don’t have the amount of copper to transmit the amount of electricity needed to owner vehicles.

Goes to show. We are not going to be able to support all the EVs the government is going to push on us. Actually mandating no gas and diesel new vehicles serves another purpose. It puts a crimp in the mobility that characterizes a free people and that has always galled the controllers. It makes us dependent on government transportation and government determination of where we will be allowed to go and when.

Which I think is the main reason. We have 10,000 years of conventional hydrocarbons and methyl-hydrates and millions of years of nuclear power.

I finished installing and testing the new PA mikes on the Rosalie Marie tuna boat. The cook observed my departure and decided to make an inspection run. As I pulled into my company parking lot, I could hear traffic on marine VHF channel 16 requesting an ambulance at Rosalie Marie. The cook was on the catwalk between the fish wells to test that PA station. Below the catwalk was the anhydrous ammonia lines used to cool the fish well brine. An ammonia line blew. It killed the cook. Had I been flagged down to follow the cook inspecting the PA stations, I would not be writing about the incident.

Ammonia is wicked stuff. My mom said she saw this accident in Houston TX in her rearview mirror.

Billie Sol Estes gives a thumbs up for using ammonia as currency.

I proposed that Osamabama, take a Trillion dollars in 2009 when he was looking at stimulating the economy. Build 100 Nuclear power plants, and the power lines to carry the juice to the cities. That would be about $400 Billion for the plants, and $200 Billion for power lines, with $400 Billion for graft.

All of the production would be online by now, with hydro and nukes to cover business uses with enough left for homes. The Gas and Diesel would then be best used for cars, trucks and trains in My perfect world.

Perhaps not a perfect world but a world with far better prospects than the present reality.

I noticed one statement in the story. Talking of making America energy independent, free from importing oil again.

We as a country were just there, and Biden and the Commiecrats threw it in the shytcan purposely.

Never forget, Democrats AND Republicans are not interesting in the concept of Freedom, Liberty, or Self Government.

“lithium batteries are only about 6% as efficient as a gallon of gas.”

You can’t compare. Gasoline is a fuel. Batteries only store energy.

Gasoline is just a form of stored energy as well.
