I find it hard to watch TV shows and movies, not that I watched them a great deal to begin with, or to have respect or trust for many people in positions of power and influence.
I don’t think I took the revelations about the sex with the kids, human sacrifice, adrenochrome and the cannibalism as hard as most people on these threads. Don’t get me wrong— it’s evil, terrible stuff and must be stopped and punished.
It bothered me somewhat that it didn’t completely tear me up, but then I came to realize that it means I have a particular role to play. I think that role is being on a jury. Only certain people can handle something like that.
There must be some trials that take place that are your regular criminal trial with everyday people as jurors, in addition to “special” trials. It is only by hearing from regular people who served as jurors that they saw convincing evidence that these things went on that some people will finally actually believe that these things happened.

Dade County requires commercial and multifamily buildings to be inspected and certified every 40 years. The county was doing this when the building collapsed.
