Not many water buffalos in my old AO.

Most I knew avoided soap and freshly cleaned uniforms before going out.

Upon return, there was a noticeable scent on the guys going out.
I thought it was the fatigues, others thought it was from the diet?
IMO you become more aware of your senses after time in the bush, animal-like.
