One of the things I learned is that you should never push and increase exercise increments too rapidly. Your brain doesn’t like to be in pain, the idea is to actually look forward to regular and steady exercise. Also, the goal is to be exercising regularly, not laid up for a few weeks while an older body slowly heals after injury. It’s better to skip a day than push through some pain and then not be able to do your routine at all for weeks or months. Patience is rewarded with exercise.
Also, don’t eat anywhere close to bed time.

Solution: Diet and Exercise. For me, it’s beer and 12oz. curls.

Low impact unless you’re a Tard and easy to regulate your heart, built in cooldown periods. After a year you Will be impressed.

Eating after 7pm doesn’t help.
Ditto for booze and sugar.
Start slow - 200 calorie/day burn with cardio. Move it up to 500 and keep it there. At least 6 days a week.
Some will lose weight quicker than others.
I started Nutri System 2 months ago. Down 20 pounds. I walk 2-3 miles a day. I jog at least 1 of those miles.....
I gained 10 lbs. in the first four months of the lockdown.
I have permanent health issues, and I work diligently to keep the weight off, but the inactivity really hurt.
I redoubled my diet effort the end of September, and increased my weekly exercise by two-thirds.
Down 21 since then, net 11 lb. loss.
I take medication that increases my blood glucose, and struggle staying non-diabetic, and also I’m treated for high blood pressure.
Since losing the weight, my blood glucose is almost completely normal, and the docs are talking about dropping one of my blood pressure medications.
I’ve given up a whole lot in terms of diet. But I love the health improvements. Went for my quarterly check-up with one of my specialists today. In and out in 15 minutes. Just no issues to discuss really.
The effort is worth it.

I’m 55 and weigh no more than and wear the same size clothes as I did when I was 19. Haven’t weighed myself lately but I’m probably down a few. Always been skinny and need to try and gain. Guess I’ll have to start lifting heavy before I disappear.
