A woman has been arrested for attempted murder after allegedly spraying another woman with a flammable substance and lighting her on fire.
The incident occurred in the early morning on Monday, June 14, at approximately 4:34 a.m. in Council Bluffs, Iowa, when the Council Bluffs Police Department were called to investigate reports of a woman who was found with severe burns all over her body, authorities from the Council Bluffs Police Department said in a statement.

Iowa has a terrible, TERRIBLE Meth problem. It amazes me that so many rural areas do. I mean, there are fields to plant, then soybeans to hoe and hay to bale, cows to milk, cattle to feed, logs to split and water to carry!

My neighbor’s got family in Council Bluffs and has lived there also. From what I’ve heard, it’s a crazy place. He also has a daughter named Christine living there but I don’t know her last name. Hopefully not Wellage.

Doesn’t everybody? I mean, doesn’t every rural area have a terrible meth problem? Doesn’t that go with rural living?
We see it all the time around here. It is either meth, or pot or alcohol. One wonders if he is the only sober sane person around some days.

The city is the most populous in Southwest Iowa, and is a primary city of the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area. It is located on the east bank of the Missouri River, across from the city of Omaha, Neighbor still runs Pottawattamie tags on his truck. Has it in his mom's name because he's on disability.
