PORTLAND (WGME) -- Eight Mainers have died with COVID-19 after being fully vaccinated, according to the Maine CDC.
While it's a rare occurrence, it can leave families in shock and heartbroken.
Eager and ready for normalcy, Arthur Mitchell got his second dose of the Moderna vaccine on March 8.
“Counted out his two weeks to be fully vaccinated, was very excited about that,” daughter Margaret Staggs said.
Staggs says once the family was fully vaccinated, they finally relaxed after a year of restrictions.
“We probably all took a deep breath and let our guard down a little bit,” Staggs said.
About four weeks later, Staggs, her husband and her father all tested positive for COVID-19.

OK, Just to get ahead of the pro-vaxxers, this is only
0.0000000000000000000000000001 % of the vaccinated in (tiny) Maine!
It could have been worse, they could have refused to take the vaccine and they could have gotten fired and lost their class action suit as judges say getting the vaccination is required for work.
As of June 13th, 748,348 people have been completely vaccinated (the single only shot—Johnson and Johnson—or the two shots—Pfizer, Moderna).
8 have since died.
What would the percentage be?

This is the biggest disaster in all of this. Lack of a uniform aggressive therapeutic protocol immediately after known disease.
My neighbor was told to stay home by his GP and if he felt any worse, come into the hospital. He is now dead. Completely needless.

The question is… are vaccinated deaths statistically the same as non-vaccinated deaths?
When the doctor says “We did all we could” they mean to say, we did all the protocols allowed us to do.
