Grampa Dave wrote that little of the state governments' actions during the pandemic was about safety, but about control.
Similarly, on some level, I suspect some dimension of the CDC et al's vaccine messaging is not about statistics and merits and "science," but about the sanctioning of shaming.
While I'm happy this article's writer and sister are in a 'happy place' I fear their story is in the minority. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

Do those “conspiracy theories” include a Chinese lab origin for Covid-19? Something that more experts and journalists are willing to give voice to (now)?
What a shock: the sister with a brain isn’t the one who lives in the San Fernando Valley.
