I used to see FR in Arial font. Using this laptop it's in Times New Roman. Very difficult to read and small font size does not help.
Searched settings/preferences but no joy.
Any guidance to offer?
Thanks.
Win10.
What browser are you using?
Good morning, typically this can be addressed via the browser/app you are using.
If you aren’t certain, try doing a google search with the string; “change font []” where the brackets are the name of the browser. Don’t include the quotes.
Check that out and please respond what you found? Depending on the browser/app, you may even find a YouTube video.
Good luck!
I just zoom the page with ctrl+ or - keys to change the font size.
Do you use the Microsoft Edge browser?
There should be three black dots in the upper right corner of your screen.
Click on the black dots. Scroll down to the extreme bottom to Settings. Click Settings. Find Appearance on the left side of that page. Click Appearance. Scroll all the way down to Fonts.
Change Fonts in web browsers:
Chrome: Go to the 3 dots in upper right then Settings then Customize fonts.
Change to what you want.
Edge: Go to the 3 dots in upper right then Settings then Appearance then Font size and Customize fonts
Firefox: Go to the 3 lines in upper right then General then Fonts and Colors then Advanced
Also Zoom
Ctrl + +key.
Chrome-based browsers (I’m using one right now) in Windows have a nice menu in the upper right (like an equal sign with an extra bar) and a Zoom entry, which you can use to bump up (or down) the display size. In the system setup there’s probably a font override capability, Hope that helps.
Oh hey, learned somethin’ while looking up somethin’ that I didn’t wind up finding:
Actually, Brave DOES allow the user to select a different default font. I just changed from Serif to Sans (Arial-style).
Chromium based browsers (Brave, Edge, Dissenter, etc.) most likely all have that feature.
Hold the “Ctrl” key down on your keyboard and use the wheel on your mouse to increase or decease the size of the font.
What minnesota_bound wrote, except that in Chrome it’s also under Appearance.
I don’t know if that helped the original poster, but this just made my day! Wow...so much better adjusted. I had no idea how to do this!
THANK YOU
My pleasure!
Ctrl + , Each time you hit those two keys together will increase font size in the browser.
BOOKbump
Currently , and temporarily, edge
ctrl +- Yes! I used to know that :(
Instructions for edge browser worked perfectly!
Life is better now.
Thanks to one and all. Have a good day!
