In 2007, six-year-old Jazz Jennings went on national television to tell Barbara Walters the same thing she’d been telling her parents, siblings and anyone else who would listen: She was, despite her birth certificate’s insistence otherwise, a girl.
Shy and sweet, Jennings answered Walters’ probing questions with the clarity and patience of someone used to explaining herself over and over again. “She was so charismatic, so charming and so clearly herself,” Laverne Cox says of first seeing that “20/20” interview. “Her humanity was so on display that you couldn’t deny she had the right to be who she was.” It was a watershed moment for transgender visibility in media, not least because it made Jennings one of the youngest documented trans people to speak her truth for millions of viewers to hear.
It’d be easy for Jennings to say she always knew that moment would be life-changing. Looking back, though, she mostly just remembers it as something she got to brag about at recess. “I think there was like, one kid from school who recognized me from TV,” Jennings, now 20, recalls over a recent Zoom call from her home in South Florida. “Maybe my confidence increased a bit because I was like, ‘I’m on TV!’ like any little kid would think about it.”

When a male is “altered” into a “female”, the “doctor(s)” have to inflict a permanent open wound to serve as a “vagina.” This kind of “operation” is simply sick and evil. It’s remarkable you don’t have scores of “patients” dying from massive infections or septic shock. No ethical doctor could perform such a surgery.

Except it isn’t permanent. The body will tend to close the wound, so on-going surgeries are required to keep it open from what I have heard (from transitioners explaining their hardships).

Jazz looks exactly like a young man. I assume he had breast implants, as his boobs are too big for hormone enhancement. We know he has no problems with artificial enhancements.
I looked through Variety’s Jazz Jennings articles. In his most recent article, he was huge! He’s always had a weight problem, but not as obese as he is now
I watched the episode where Jazz had his Lopitoffame. I think that was the one where the plastic surgeon said he might have problems having an org*sm. What was truly interesting was the next episode (maybe season 5, episode 6), when Jazz kept talking about his “v*gina. The non-transgender plastic surgeon responded by calling it a wound! The way Jazz has to treat it now, I’m betting that’s the official medical term for it.
I hope I haven’t repeatedly posted this to you. I’ve posted about this a lot.
I was going through Variety’s Jazz Jennings articles, and it said there will be another season, season 7.
Why haven’t the parents hired a nutritionist to feed him correctly? I forgot he should be at Harvard now. I read puberty blockers knock 10 points off the pill taker’s IQ. Maybe he decided not to go to Harvard.
It may be too late for him to reverse transition, even if he wished to. Some child celebrities stay popular, but most don’t, not on the same level of fame. Even Shirley Temple had to finally realize this point. She wisely pivoted into doing diplomatic work for several presidents, making the most of being an adult.
Jazz, I would suppose he could have a lucrative career as a public speaker, that is if anybody really wants to listen to him now. Now, to most strangers, he just looks like any other somewhat dumpy, matronly ‘woman’.
Some Reality Show will hire him for a while.

Look it up. Jazz has no functional genitalia at all. Because of chemical castration before puberty, there was not enough tissue to construct a pseudo-vagina the “usual” way. So they tried something else and botched it.
“Smooth down there”? I assume his mom didn’t shave down there, so how in heck would he know she’s smooth down there?
According to Bruce Jenner, true trans means the transgender person took puberty blockers, which knock 10 points off IQ.
I wondered about that too, and he didn’t say.
Now, I’ve got to test the “hiding Jazz’s birth name”.
Walt Heyer detransitioned, so Jennings could, when he reaffirms reality.
I read at Variety that whichever channel is planning a season 7. I’ll be interested to see how he’s handling his Lopitoffame, although I doubt it will run, if he doesn’t lose weight.
Another thing - Jennings was supposed to start at Harvard last year. Did he?
