An Anaheim man has been charged with murder in connection with fatally attacking a 70-year-old man earlier this week, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday.
The incident was reported about 12:20 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Catalpa and Falmouth avenues, where the victim was found suffering from severe head trauma.
Anaheim police said the attack on Rahmatolah “David” Yaghoubi was unprovoked and random. Authorities have not elaborated on how the victim died.
An investigation revealed that the same day, a 60-year-old man was in his front yard when he was assaulted by an unknown assailant. While officers were taking that report, they received a call about another assault.

If that guy (the perp) showed up at my front door I’d ventilate him.
A quick trial and straight to the gallows.
Murders and assaults are unforgivable against any age victims.
As I’m now in that range, I resent reading about 60 and 70 year olds as though they are all vulnerable pushovers.
If you show up with evil intent, I’ve had quite a few years to think about the best ways to take you out.
It might be bravado, but I’m going to at least try and take you with me.

I think serious “head trauma” is a clue as to how the poor man died, but this is an LA news station so forget about “the news, common sense writing, the truth, accuracy, and any “discrimination” issues”.
Me too but, I have a Ruger 380 in my pocket and a Ruger 9mm on the truck seat at all times, legally.

Punching immediately stopped.
In a real situation give a follow up whack with the cane.
Over and over there is a statement about UNPROVOKED ATTACK as if murder was ok otherwise.

Which CM cane did you get?
I have several canes from various sources but chiefly from Purpleheart Armoury. Most feature a wood or metal knob consistent with cane fighting systems from the 1890s onward (Barton-Wright’s walking stick method and Cunningham’s “The Cane as a Weapon”).
