:: and sewer at 4% ::

Wait...wut?
Your town gets drinking water from the sewer lines?

Family members getting hit by this. Consumers said to turn up the AC by 5 degrees. Seriously? Already set to 70-72. Yes, the humidity often bad.

So that explains the water system changes. Our water bill is tripling.

>Good. Enjoy the communist paradise MI.

.... ... and your implied assertion that (live, real) Michigan voters elected any of this.

“Our year round costs average $0.38 per kWh in
Democrat Party ruled Hawaii.
You guys aren’t even close to that cost, yet.”

California’s tiered pricing gets close, at 30 cents. But yes, here in Texas it’s below 10 cents.

In an area about 40 miles north of Lansing there are hundreds of windmills. When we go by them on our annual trip up north to fly fish less than half are generating. Wonder how much more electricity could be being generated if the cost of all that land and all the turbines had gone into building a nuclear or NG generating plant?

...we have to replace all the lead pipes at the expense of taxpayers. Michigan ordered it and never gave any money to the towns, cities to replace the pipes. So our town is increasing water rates by 12% annually and sewer at 4%. Then we have the EV car push with our auto factories.

American auto makers (to save money and signal 'green') switched wire coatings in cars from petrol-based to soy based setting up feeding stations for squirrels in the process... Over $600 in repair bills twice for the crime of parking outside rather than in the garage. The odds of me buying an American made car again? ZERO. I'd vote for Romney first...

thanks Cletus. invest in hamsters on a treadmill to power the windmill or go back to the Dept. of Candles.

http://alexpeak.com/twr/anthem/7.html

“Should it be what they claim of it,” said Harmony 9-2642, “then it would bring ruin to the Department of Candles. The Candle is a great boon to mankind, as approved by all men. Therefore it cannot be destroyed by the whim of one.”
Anthem.7.42

[74] “This would wreck the Plans of the World Council,” said Unanimity 2-9913, “and without the Plans of the World Council the sun cannot rise. It took fifty years to secure the approval of all the Councils for the Candle, and to decide upon the number needed, and to re-fit the Plans so as to make candles instead of torches. This touched upon thousands and thousands of men working in scores of States. We cannot alter the Plans again so soon.”
Anthem.7.43

“And if this should lighten the toil of men,” said Similarity 5-0306, “then it is a great evil, for men have no cause to exist save in toiling for other men.”

Mass production of candles involves refined petroleum products (paraffin).

50 percent higher rate between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays.

In most cases, Wheeler claimed customers would end up paying about $2 more per month.

Yeah right. How about $20? More if you have a big house.

And you’re assumption is that no one in MI is responsible for what’s going on.

[[With the summer months heating up, one of the largest utility companies in the state plans to increase drastically the cost of electricity, starting Tuesday. ]]

Of course, right in time for the huge push for electric vehicles and the war on fossil fuels heats up

You'll own nothing and be happy

Don't forget to wave at the Lear jet or private 737 as it flies over. Those are your dear leaders and they saved us all from climate change.

The people will witch moan and complain about it, but will accept it thinking they are saving the planet, because they’ve been brainwashed to think that man is a virus and is ruining the planet

What’s the big deal? Leave A/C off for the summer, after all that’s what this is all about. The Green New Deal is coming at us in waves, rather than one big legislative effort. No gas, no meat, no electricity, AOC is in her glory!!
