With the advent of cellphones came the loud talkers. Riding the train to work, always one in each car.
I was this close... to purchasing a cell jammer. Very annoying and more so on a nice quiet morning, read and relax.
Public caning is the proper response.

I’ve seen many people talking loud on the phone or otherwise. I’ve never seen anyone find? Is this story from Singapore?
To: DUMBGRUNT
She probably supports politicians that would make it a crime to “talk too loud”.

EASTPOINTE, Mich.
In Singapore, they cane them, therefore a very rare event.

Guessing she “talked loud” to the police when they arrived. :D

...believes her white neighbor only called the cops on her because of her race... Man, she accepts no responsibility that she was talking too loud, to the extent that her neighbor heard her. It seems the Race Card is now the universal Get-Out-Of-Jail-Because-I-Am-Black-And-Not-Responsible-For-Anything card.

Their mouths are as big as their butts.

Back when cell phones were novelties and status symbols, I assumed people spoke loudly on them to ensure everybody around them knew they had a cell phone.
I've still not completely abandoned that theory.

Maybe it was her big mouth?

There’s a guy in my local bar who puts his smart phone on speaker-phone when he’s having a conversation, as if the whole bar wants to listen in to his conversation. I think he has Asperger’s Syndrome - socially clueless.

Blacks complain about stereotyping and then this fat repulsive waste of skin crawls out from under a rock and exemplifies everything about the stereotype in spades.

Diamond Robinson was walking up and down her block on Cushing Street in Eastpointe Eastpointe, previously known as East Detroit, was the first destination city for blacks fleeing Detroit.....

Maybe the person she was talking to was far away so she had to raise her voice? Then too, exactly how loud was she talking? Oh, and race, yeah, racism.

No, many people were loud talkers before, especially when trying to get a refund, trying to get government benefits or denying that their ‘baby’ stole something from the store etc. Where do you think Karen learned it from. Get loud enough and you’ll get your way just so they can shut you up.

I've resisted owning a smart phone (I have a flip-phone) because I can't stand the centrality they've achieved in our society. People - especially young people - are glued to them, staring at them all day long even when in the company of friends.
But now they are becoming almost mandatory, and it is hard to do business in some places without one; some parking lots require that you pay using a phone app, and some sports arenas require a smart phone to get your ticket and be admitted to the arena. .
