A coroner in the United Kingdom will consider whether complications caused by the AstraZeneca vaccine were a factor in the death of BBC presenter Lisa Shaw.
Ms Shaw, 44, was a well known presenter in northeast England, where she worked for BBC Radio Newcastle.
She died last Friday in hospital, where she was being treated for blood clots.
In a statement, Ms Shaw’s family said she developed “severe” headaches a week after having the Covid-19 vaccine and became “seriously ill” a few days later.

What a crock of shit!!!
(I don’t ever cuss on Free Republic, but I had to make an exception for you.
We can’t be anti vaxers because these aren’t vaccines.
I’m fully vaccinated. Measles, mumps, rubella, polio, smallpox, tetanus.
If they come out with a safe and effective vaccine I’ll consider it.
Now go Pimp you fake Vaccine on the fake news sites.
wow, didn't know that. i'm gonna go now right out and get the jab, as i cannot wait to increase my chance of avoiding death from 99.94% to 99.95%.
thanks.
A plague so deadly that the CDC began swab tests in transit hubs to quantify its spread. Oh wait, they didn't do that.
A plague so deadly that New York City shut down the largest super-spreader in the world, the New York City subway system. Oh wait, they didn't do that. They were so concerned about stopping the spread of the Wuhanic Plague that they made a grand announcement several months in about increasing the frequency of cleaning the cars to, get this, ONCE EVERY 72 HOURS. What the hell was it before then? Why would they not sterilize the super-spreader express EVERY TRIP?
Kozak should be banned or zotted for his Covid posts.
Posting his daily “butchers bill” with deaths counts that are 94% greater than the actual numbers.
Btw, notice how he has his thread title trade marked?
The guy/gal is sick.
I’m with you brother (or sister). I take all those same vitamins, supplements and more, fish oil too. I even have some ivermectin which I take once a week. I am possibly vulnerable, with pre-existing heart condition. But an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I am glad you have been able to attend and gather with fellow church goers. As for me, California has been particularly draconian. My business has fallen off 80% during Pandemic and I’m working to try new avenues to generate business, I even have a “Plan B” if I have to start all over but preferably I’d just add this idea to my current business.
I guess my point is, I have been pretty darn near isolated for 15 months. Home work home work. 6 mile commute. Work, only a small number of people working whatever hours they accommodate - they are getting their UI money so don’t want to work many hours. So I hardly interact. For the most part we are all in separate offices anyway and keep social distance. The biggest risk I feel I have is the wife who likes to shop. She may bring home covid on a can of sardines or box of dog treats. But she’s sanitizer crazy. Sprays everything with 71% alcohol. So far I’ve avoided the virus to the best of my knowledge. Had 4 or 5 tests since March 2020, some because I had to (travel, or hospital admission) - all negative.
Might be worth finding out if you have the antibodies. I don’t personally see a reason but your mileage may vary. ‘Round here they charge about $250 for an antibody test at the clinics but I bet if I looked there are probably ways to get it done free.
blood clots and bleeding in her head
Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
The people for vaccination do not care.
Get it through your heads. They don’t care.
Its why they aren’t on the thread arguing and defending the vaccines and big pharma.
Remember all the people here up in arms about crestor killing a few hundred people, demanding it be pulled and demanding it be pulled, and p1ssed off fda let it through the long, normal approval process, in the first place?
Many are the same folks who are now silent about the thousands of deaths from the rushed experimetal covax treatments. Who demand everyone ought to be vaccinated.
Actually I may have been one of the first to get it. Back in late January 2020, I was locked in a conference room with a court Reporter who was coughing up a lung for 2 hours. I came home and told my wife that I was probably going to get sick. About a week or so later I experienced what I assumed was the flu. And I don’t think I had ever gotten the flu before in my life. I had to call in sick for about 4 or 5 days and I hadn’t called in sick in about 15 years. My wife got it too. This was before any of the lockdowns occurred. I got over it and didn’t think about it.
I know one person who died of COVID. He was a liberal so I suspect he poo pooed the idea of HCQ or anything Trump suggested. His office was religious about following all the protocols: masks, distancing, washing hands, sanitizing the mail... everyone in that office got COVID. Several people were hospitalized and two died in an office of less than 20 people.
I personally believe that if you are too sanitary that you will be more vulnerable. They found that Polio was most virulent in homes where sanitation was primary. In other words, before the vaccine, the more precautions you took, the more likely you were to get it.
I also believe that people who wear masks all day are more vulnerable. The mask will pick up some virons that will stick to your mask and you breathe them in and out all day. Eventually they stick to your lungs. They can’t do a clinical study because now everyone has to wear one. There’s no control group.
Well I’m the control group for not taking the jab.
When they come up with a real vaccine that is clinically proven to be safe and effective and didn’t use aborted babies or “humanized mice” I might consider it.
One way to lose elections for a long time is to flood once-conservative social media with crazy talk about vaccines and masks.
I have heard several stories like yours from friends, who had traveled or whatnot in late 2019 or early 2020 and then said what they called the worst case of flu they ever had. I think the actual infection rate is double that of the official numbers - and I base this from Red Cross data on blood sample tests.
Ordinarily we’d be knee deep in mud, dirt, pollen, dust, whatever. I am not afraid of germs. But they played this virus up big and I have access to industrial quantities of 200 proof alcohol. So we filled a couple of those garden weed spray bottles with either 100% isopropyl alcohol, or my own 71% concentrate of SD Alcohol (measured by volume). So for a while there, we sprayed everything down like they were garden weeds. The wife still carries a bunch of sprayer bottles in the car - for gas pump hoses, shopping carts, you name it. She will spray and then spray again. She’ll spray her steering wheel just because she feels like it. LOL. I don’t mind.
We won’t go mad over this. This too shall pass. Before covid we were not so antiseptic but I do recall, when President Trump called for the travel ban end of January 2020, I called the missus (she was visiting her family a few hours drive north) and asked her to go to the most remote Costco she could find and stock up on all the dried and canned goods she could get. Even at that time, before it was “official” many of the items at Costco were sold out. But I have a years supply of rice, beans, sardines and tuna. No harm in that.
I would like to see more neutral data on infections. I like to repeat that Red Cross statistic because it’s interesting to me, one of the few ways to get a real scientific look at things. 20% of blood donors, unvaccinated donors, showed presence of antibodies. That is a key piece of information. It may not be perfect to extrapolate to all of society, I imagine that many donors are front line workers who were more likely to be exposed. But 20%, extrapolated out to the USA, is more than double the official numbers reported. Good or bad. But if it holds true, it means we are closer to herd immunity, and it means the disease is only half as fatal as the reported numbers. Of course, the vulnerable are at much more risk but in the general sense, it seems to be much more virulent and at the same time a lot less deadly than the “official” numbers may indicate.
Straw man. sure, if the vaccine saved nobody and killed millions (why stop at a fake thousands figure) then definitely nobody should take it.
However it is highly effective (unless you think the studies are lies) and out of millions that have taken it if you can show me 50 people who have died form getting it I'll be surprised.
If you don't want it, don't get it. That's your decision. It's not conservative to want to make that sort of decision for other people, and that goes in both directions.
Big goobermint now includes big pharma and the amount of money they received is astounding.
Do the studies include cases where someone is given the Vax and then deliberately exposed to a high viral load of the actual virus?
Or do they just track the ginea pigs and see how they fare in the world?
“I think the chance of blood clots following a Covid-19 vaccine is about 7 per million.
Compare that to the chance of clots during Covid-19 infection, which is about 20%.”
==
Just to affirm your numbers, according to the data below, 1 in 5 hospitalised cases had blood clots in their veins along with 31% of those transferred to ICU (UCSanDiegoHealth). Of those clotting, risk of death increased by 74%.
Of note: It is suggested that even mild Covid cases can develop clotting and not know it until there’s a blockage/crisis.
My question is, should people maybe go on low-dose aspirin for a week before and continuing a month after vaccine?
I assume that a BBC presenter is the same as a US news reader. That being a bimbo or dude with no special journalistic abilities .... just read the yellow fish wrapper handed to them.
That 565k is extremely inflated. I personally knew a guy who died on his motorcycle, getting hit by a pickup truck, and he “Died of Covid.” Pure BS. If they had not changed how they assessed cause of death, and counted COVID like every flu year, the numbers would be less than a third that number. You are at FR. Why? Most people here know better than to trust government bureaucrats with an ax to grind.
She went virtue signaling to the end.
I figured you wouldn’t answer that. Thanks for playing.
Do you believe in studies at all? Unless they are run by Dr Mengele they do not intentionally infect patients with anything, they compare them to a control group that wasn't vaccinated. In large numbers the statistics tell the tale.
I don't care if you never get the vaccine. By stating that no study other than an ethically compromised one would convince you you've made it clear: you don't want it and you will rationalize that decision as being science based.
And you know what? I don't care. Don't go get it.
