I’m with you brother (or sister). I take all those same vitamins, supplements and more, fish oil too. I even have some ivermectin which I take once a week. I am possibly vulnerable, with pre-existing heart condition. But an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I am glad you have been able to attend and gather with fellow church goers. As for me, California has been particularly draconian. My business has fallen off 80% during Pandemic and I’m working to try new avenues to generate business, I even have a “Plan B” if I have to start all over but preferably I’d just add this idea to my current business.

I guess my point is, I have been pretty darn near isolated for 15 months. Home work home work. 6 mile commute. Work, only a small number of people working whatever hours they accommodate - they are getting their UI money so don’t want to work many hours. So I hardly interact. For the most part we are all in separate offices anyway and keep social distance. The biggest risk I feel I have is the wife who likes to shop. She may bring home covid on a can of sardines or box of dog treats. But she’s sanitizer crazy. Sprays everything with 71% alcohol. So far I’ve avoided the virus to the best of my knowledge. Had 4 or 5 tests since March 2020, some because I had to (travel, or hospital admission) - all negative.

Might be worth finding out if you have the antibodies. I don’t personally see a reason but your mileage may vary. ‘Round here they charge about $250 for an antibody test at the clinics but I bet if I looked there are probably ways to get it done free.

Actually I may have been one of the first to get it. Back in late January 2020, I was locked in a conference room with a court Reporter who was coughing up a lung for 2 hours. I came home and told my wife that I was probably going to get sick. About a week or so later I experienced what I assumed was the flu. And I don’t think I had ever gotten the flu before in my life. I had to call in sick for about 4 or 5 days and I hadn’t called in sick in about 15 years. My wife got it too. This was before any of the lockdowns occurred. I got over it and didn’t think about it.

I know one person who died of COVID. He was a liberal so I suspect he poo pooed the idea of HCQ or anything Trump suggested. His office was religious about following all the protocols: masks, distancing, washing hands, sanitizing the mail... everyone in that office got COVID. Several people were hospitalized and two died in an office of less than 20 people.

I personally believe that if you are too sanitary that you will be more vulnerable. They found that Polio was most virulent in homes where sanitation was primary. In other words, before the vaccine, the more precautions you took, the more likely you were to get it.

I also believe that people who wear masks all day are more vulnerable. The mask will pick up some virons that will stick to your mask and you breathe them in and out all day. Eventually they stick to your lungs. They can’t do a clinical study because now everyone has to wear one. There’s no control group.

Well I’m the control group for not taking the jab.

When they come up with a real vaccine that is clinically proven to be safe and effective and didn’t use aborted babies or “humanized mice” I might consider it.
