Well, if they write her as a Ripley type of character it might work. But they won’t. All of the men are going to be incompetent and sexist... well, we know the drill by now.

Tough to say how much it will lose without knowing its production budget. My guess is this will be made for a fraction of what the original Predator cost and even that didn't have a huge budget.

However, I will predict it will generate box office receipts commensurate with a previous female-centric reboot of the Ghostbusters franchise...so, not very big at all...and that's presuming it gets any kind of theatrical release at all. It may be straight to video.

This is going to be a totally different Predator movie from what every one expects - the build up to their meeting will be thrilling and dramatic as all get out. Then they meet for the first time ... its love at first sight and they walk off into the sunset arm and tentacle.
