I contend that we started seeing Herd Immunity effects on the case numbers in mid-April.

It is not like a sudden total on-off switch - it bends the curve downward. It is continuing to strengthen, and more strongly suppress the disease, as more and more people develop immunity.

There is difference in replication rates (Ro), among the variants - some are more infectious (not necessarily more deadly, just spread more easily). 60% of adults was calculated as the Herd Immunity Threshold (HIT) for the original variant (1 - 1/Ro). We are pretty much there now just with first shots.

Of course, as you point out, those with immunity from exposure also count. We know how many popped positive on tests, and there is also some number that had it, but were not tested.

Some of the variants require almost 80% for HIT.

But we are in the window already, where the high number with immunity is degrading the virus’ ability to increase in the population. It is probably a factor in the changing variant mix, as some less infectious variants are likely already getting choked out.

I wouldn't expect that but I would expect a slow decline at first gradually increasing in speed until it hit a breaking point where new cases fell off like a rock.

My gut feeling for a while has been that the breaking point would come about mid-summer. We will see.

'Studies' came out throughout the early history of cigarette smoking during the middle of the last century declaring it had zero impact on health. The studies were false, of course.

Just because they delete the evidence doesn't mean the infant(s) didn't die :

I don't know if you noticed but they are purging evidence and then denouncing those who expose them as 'baseless'. The Baby below died after nursing. No other exposures to allergens known. I do believe the CDC is going to force as many babies as possible to suffer transmission through breast milk while loudly declaring the ends justify the means.

The CDC said has said nothing to nursing mothers about the following record, and I bet they delete it rather than say a word about it to the public. I've seen one or two more records since the one below. Wonder if the CDC has deleted them?

I got Covid-19 last October. I have Cancer, somewhat overweight, controlled diabetes, and controlled high blood pressure.

I got the HCQ cocktail and tested negative less than five days later. The ER doctor was willing to admit me, and said there as no guarantee I’d get the HCQ cocktail. I wasn’t there to get admitted; just to get the HCQ cocktail. She wouldn’t prescribe the HCQ, but di prescribe the other drugs. Got the HCQ from my wife who uses it for her autoimmune disorders and more from a friend of hers.
