The Russian army released an ad campaign that shows explosions and tough men, making the woke US army ads look utterly weak and pathetic.

Russia or China just need to run the US ad and say:

“Join the army so our country will never be run by US perverts and freaks.”

After watching the "American" pro-lesbian pervert recruitment video (just WHAT were they recruiting for, one wonders--being a soldier or being a lesbian???), and then downing a very necessary anti-nausea pill, I had a couple of questions:

What kind of military people OK'd this garbage?
Were we watching a Disney video or a military recruitment video?
Is this for real? It's so nauseating and off topic.

For decades, if not centuries, the French Army has been the butt of jokes about uninspired soldiers merely going through the motions, until such time as they may surrender.

That’s not exactly fair to the French Army. They pretty much conquered Europe during the Napoleonic Wars. They fought and died like hell in WWI and were poorly led and outmaneuvered in WWII. The soldiers in the much-maligned Maginot Line only surrendered when the French President, accompanied by German soldiers ordered them to surrender.

They were a big disappointment to the Brits in 1940 to be sure but it was French units that covered the British evacuation at Dunkirk.

Now the Italian Army...

Here's a photo of our new armored personnel carrier. Just wait until the enemy hears our trucks coming ("break time!")...

“one wonders—being a soldier or being a lesbian?”

With 90% of it focusing on the joys and wonders of lesbianism, you have to ask?

I wonder how poor Emma turned out.

I am surprised that they, for the USA picture, did not show a woman who was far along in a pregnancy. Maybe I shouldn’t say that, don’t want to give them any ideas.

The Brits didn’t exactly make a last stand. They fled the battlefield at Dunkirk. Though they try to blame France, the Brits were utterly unprepared to resist Germany in 1940 and were outclassed. The French fought damned hard but under poor leaders at the higher levels. In the 6 week battle of France they suffered roughly the same casualties as did in Vietnam. 60,000 dead and 200,000 wounded. They inflicted 27,000 German dead and 111,000 wounded.
Then as you said, when ordered by their government, they surrendered.
A quick look at some other surrenders caused by poor leadership, We surrendered to a smaller Japanese force in the Philippines because of the poor leadership of General MacArthur who left his men behind to become prisoners. The Brits at Singapore surrendered to a Jap force a third their size.
The Afrika Corps surrendered and filled the Southwest with prison camps.

The French soldier doesn’t deserve anything but respect.
This is especially true today, with nobody else in Europe at the level of power of the French military., Nobody else is even close. And only France’s military seems to have moral courage today. Our flag level officers are pure cowards.

Truly patriotic American soldiers are quickly being weeded out of combat units, to be replaced with soyboi and girly GI’s,

***********

Why would the qualified, strong and motivated ever want to join our military only to be harassed, belittled and demoralized by the wokesters who now run the show? the military is a joke and capable people will want no part of it.

Our adversaries abroad are taking notes, you can be sure of that.

Nothing pussy about the French military. Over the decades they've had some piss poor political leadership...much like us as witnessed during the Vietnam War and currently under the despicable Biden..but that doesn't detract from the fighting men.

One major problem for us is that we don’t have a political party to fight for our values. The GOP is a total farce. It is corrupt, weak and completely lacking in principles. It is a pushover.

Until such time that we finally figure out that we need a real political party fighting for us we’re going to keep getting steamrolled by the Marxist revolution.

They’re gonna be sorry when we turn the Transgender Commandos loose on them. Just tell ‘em it’s contagious and they’ll run like the wind.

People tend to forget that WW II started only 21 years after WW I ended, a time span that is not even one full generation. France’s losses in WW I were staggering and they couldn’t replenish their fighting forces in only 21 years.
French casualties in WW I
by Henry Copeland
September 22, 2003

World War I cost France 1,357,800 dead, 4,266,000 wounded (of whom 1.5 million were permanently maimed) and 537,000 made prisoner or missing — exactly 73% of the 8,410,000 men mobilized, according to William Shirer in The Collapse of the Third Republic. Some context: France had 40 million citizens at the start of the war; six in ten men between the ages of eighteen and twenty-eight died or were permanently maimed.

There simply weren’t enough young, marriage-age men left in France after WW I to regenerate the population. Mark Steyn wrote about this in “America, Alone.” The ennui resulting from the two great wars resulted in Western Europe fertility rate in the late 20th century falling below replacement, ushering in the moslem hordes.

Also, the French Army mutinied in 1917 (the Brits and Yanks basically saved their skittles) and hadn’t truly recovered by 1940.

Mutiny did not affect the entire army in that area. And it came at the end of about a 3 1/2 year static meat grinder that nobody could even imagine before WWI, and after it became obvious that no leader anywhere had a plan besides turn eastern France into a moonscape A half million French soldiers went missing in action. On those battlefields that means shattered into thousands of pieces by artillery and buried under a rain of mud.
