(CNN) - Protesters rallied in cities across the United States on Saturday in support of Palestinians, days after Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire ending the latest round of violence and bloodshed in a decades-long conflict.
More than 90 events were planned for the weekend, including rallies in New York, Houston, Philadelphia, Chicago and Portland.
Protesters showed support for Palestinians and accused the Israeli government of using disproportionate force and indiscriminately bombing densely populated civilian areas in Gaza. The Israeli government has accused Hamas of launching rocket attacks from those population centers.

Dana Barqawi, 33, says she attended a rally with family and friends in Philadelphia.
"I joined the protest for my parents, for my grandparents, and for my great grandparents who never stopped fighting for their freedom and right to return to Palestine," she told CNN. "I joined to be a voice for every Palestinian brother and sister who is being silenced."
"The people that showed up today know that a ceasefire doesn't end Israel's military occupation of Palestine," Barqawi added.

Really? And who's fault is that? The Palestinians place their rocket launchers precisely on civilian locations because they know that the Participation Trophy crowd will emerge from their parents' basement to protest. I long for the good old days when military leaders fought wars, not photo-op politicians. Get them out of the picture and all the wars since Viet Nam would have ended much sooner than they did.
4 years of middle east peace. Now this mess 6 months in. Planned. All of it is staged.
Saw a bunch of these “protesters” at an outdoor mall in the SF Bay Area yesterday. From what I could see, it was the usual gang consisting of the skulls full of mush who only know what NPR and CNN tell them along with a few folks who escaped temporarily from Beserkeley to foment the kiddies.
Luckily, they did their march quickly enough and moved along to probably stir up other parts of town. I do know that a couple of people sitting near me at the time just rolled their eyes when they asked me what was going on and I noted that it was a pro-Palestinian group.
Another Deliberately misleading anti- American propaganda article from cnn. There are no “Palestinians” only Muslim Arabs who are still — amazingly— allowed to continue their evil Occupation in the Jewish Promised Land and to murder bomb and stab innocent Christians Jews and others any damned time they want. And they have no “rights” there - they need to be repatriated to Arabia and egypt
Soros rallies
These stupids galvanize against Israel and for the ‘Palestinians’ while the invader cancer cells called Hamas terrorists hijack all the rage to garner their game plan to get the world against Israel. Quite insidious and doing the work for el diablo.
Iif they are so much in a fluff about “palestine”, buy a boat ticket and go there.
America is not Palestine.
Iran’s mullah’s regime the head of the snake will have to be dealt with and cut down since they fuel and support these terrorists. As long as they are in power this is what will continue.
Fixed it for you.
Fixed the title for them.
a ceasefire doesn't end Israel's military occupation of PalestineNeither does protesting "across the United States".
Too stupid to know what a shithole it would be without Israel's military occupation.
Are the protestors for or against Hamas?
“ Too stupid to know what a shithole it would be without Israel’s military occupation.”

Yeh, nobody wants anything to do with them. Jordan considers them pariahs and won’t let them in. Same with other neighboring countries.
