One month before the director of national intelligence and secretary of Defense are expected to deliver a UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) intelligence report, Navy pilots and other former government officials are speaking out and describing their encounters with the mysterious sightings.
I have a problem with purported ‘intelligence’ guys who are suddenly promoting the idea of ‘alien visitation’ - (after the military and intelligence services have denied it for the past 70+ years of modern technological history) - and teaming up with an obscure rock ‘star’ to do it!
There is no proof that anybody in this story was really involved with any ‘Pentagon UFO Investigation’ program; and no proof at all that the videos we’re seeing are real or manufactured; or - IF real - that the so-called ‘UAP’s’ are not just artefacts of the technology.
It’s all Nuts.
:) You seem to be in to Ancient Aliens or ancient astronauts. Ten years or so ago I did watch to discover new archaeological sites but lately they seem less informative. I learned of Göbekli Tepe from that show and expanded my knowledge of Puma Punku. I was aggravated that my archaeology magazines at that time had not even mentioned Göbekli Tepe.
Hancock has been around for some time, a bit after von Daniken. I wouldn't consider him a prime source. He does get around more lately. He has taken up with Giorgio A. Tsoukalos who strikes me as a bit of a nut case.
I will not subscribe to the ancient astronauts theory until it is unambiguously proven.
Pathetic attempt at deflection from the fustercluck of PedoJoe.
Not buying it, one little bit.
/not near as stupid as I look
I know but I LOVE that series.
I saved it on my DVR just to watch it all over again.
It is fecking hilarious.
His “thoughts” made me laugh out loud like a hyena when I thought I could never laugh again.
The sound of my laughter actually scared me.
I’d forgotten what it was like.
You seem to be in to Ancient Aliens or ancient astronauts.

No. No way. None of those books deal with or mention aliens. All of them deal with real history by revealing little known artifacts and scientific results of various objects, cites, and dating.
Hancock has improved his written research from what it was when he started out to where he can cite from documented findings and archeologists. I don’t particularly recommend his other books but I do the tow I mentioned and you might take a look because Göbekli Tepe plays a part.
Temple is the most credible of them all because of his personal investigations, but his findings all deal with Old and Early Middle Kingdom Egypt. Pretty much everything most know about those times is completely wrong based on known dating forgeries. Crystal Sun is interesting as he presents a good case that eye glasses and telescopes where known in ancient times and shows the optical lenses to prove that point.
Andrews deals with modern findings of human origin and the 70,000 stone circles around the world as well as human migration patterns.
None of this will be found on any TV show, outside of a rare, brief and often misleading reference.
None of them say aliens did this or that - all of them say that either we are very ignorant of out human past and human capabilities in the very distant past. So with your interest in possible high level prehistoric human civilizations is why I gave the list.
If you have time and are interested, here is the whole tome, which has the POV that the principle of evolution, as it is popularly presented, is the Great Delusion mentioned in the Bible at 2 Thessalonians 2:11.
I will try to get back to this later; I have a Dr's appointment.
thanks will read GL with the Dr !
Got the whole thing. Thanks! Like you I started a series of pages a decade ago: Time - The Geological History of The Earth - including various important events, rise of species and human descent as well as modern human events

This promotion of ‘alien visitation’ stuff has been going on for years. I think there’s more behind it than just deflection from the failure of the current (p)resident.

I looked for a graphic representation of how cyclical rising and falling of civilizations, that I have seen on the web, covers tens of thousands of years. Couldn't find it - not that it is necessarily authoritative, just an effective representation of the theory.
That theme is the foremost basis for the work that I linked. Since you show interest in the subject, I hope you can look at it. My explanation is that, since the principle of evolution demands a view of slow barely noticeable changes over long periods of time, there is an inherent bias in to recognizing the possible existence of such cycles of high civilizations.
You mentioned ancient lenses, which provides an excellent example of what evolution tends to reject. I note in my previous posting link about the famous Egyptologist, Sir Flinders Petrie; he notes in his writings that some of the stone work art rendered in ancient Egypt could not be accomplished without mechanical devices with jewel grinding stones, some on lathes. While his great expertise in ancient Egyptology is considered almost unmatched, such claims have been totally ignored.
This is indicative of modern 'science'; what it's traditional rules of interpretation cannot explain is not referred for further research - it is totally ignored, or viciously attacked. A good example is noted in my book manuscript concerning the emergence of the phenomenon of ancient cave paintings. Please read if you are interested.
It is my view that, prior to Darwin's writing, there was little resistance to the idea that the world was created. For whatever reason, Darwin knocked that tradition into a cocked hat - not really his intention at the time.
At that time the world's press was drawn to the discovery of compelling proof of Noah's Ark being exposed on Turkey's Mount Ararat. There was a monastary on the lower slopes of Ararat that had collected artifacts from gleanings on the mountain. Many interesting items were documented.
Then an expedition climbed high on the mountain and apparently discovered what was believed to be remnants of a huge boat. Headlines exploded around the world and popular interest was generated.
Then Darwin's book was publicized and overnight all interest in the findings on Arafat were extinguished, never to be really rekindled. The power of the press reared its head. Subsequently a huge earthquake and landslide buried the monastery and formed the deep gash, the Ahora Gorge. Some claim that the splitting that formed the gorge divided the Ark structure in half. Photographic evidence is somewhat inconclusive.
The point is that discoveries on Arafat attract little world attention. U.S. astronaut James Irwin, of Apollo 15, climbed Ararat in 1982. Little attention was paid to the effort.
That’s an interesting side note to the search for the Ark. Since there was a landslide that destroyed the monastery (before the muslims got around to it) there is no proof they found anything outside of their claims.
If there was an ark run by some one named Noah, it was just one of dozens all around the world and would have participated in the worldwide floods with the melting of the ice caps, the subsequent comet strikes of 10800 BC, and the end of the Younger Dryas Age a thousand or so years later.
Back to Darwin: none of his postulates about evolution have proven true in real life and some are plain impossible. The biggy: there is no currently known way that one species can turn into another, no matter how many millions of years one waits. Nor can Darwin explain the Cambrian Explosion when the Earth transitioned from a virtual Snowball and went from almost no living creatures to multitudes of creatures everywhere in every ecological niche over a few million years.
Either the craft defy gravity or produce a non-gravity area in the atmosphere around them. No one could survive the G’s they are pulling and movements. UFO/UAP, objects sure, but if there is atmospheric phenomena we do not understand occurring around them, then the UAP term is applicable.
And I agree the government has played games with this for decades and I fully expect it to continue, but the 180 change by the military at least suggests something significant has changed in the equation.
And what kind of atmospheric phenomena would show up on sophisticated radar systems with movements such as these and others have exhibited? And why would the, "Phenomena" spend so much time buzzing the military? Using the term "Phenomena" is an open ended catch all term that would suggest a natural occurrence etc. Not buying that for a second, no sale.
If-If the objects are inter-dimensional then you very well would have an atmospheric disturbance if they are popping in and out of our dimension. As for playing around with the military, it appears they do, but from reading to other reports it would seem airline pilots and average people catch sight of these things from time to time as well. Most people or airliners are not going to give chase though like fighters from a carrier battle group or fighters scrambling over an Air Force base.
I have no clue what they are or what the US government is up too doing a 180. It would be interesting to see if the the Vatican or some other world power were to step forward and say something before the US.
All of this could be our craft, but we’ve kept it hidden for decades why disclose it now? If it were the Chicoms or Russians we sure as hell wouldn’t be saying a word in public about it but going to congress for more $$$ to counter their superiority.
I do agree with you the US government telling the truth is near impossible so what ever comes out from the government must be suspect.
It seems to me they'd still be UFO's if they, "Popped" into our dimension and were aerial/airborne/flying.
They may be lying. However, I doubt China has more advanced aircraft than the US unless they stole it from someone else.
China has nothing. If they did we’d have all been speaking Chinese for centuries ...
Whose are they? I’m going with the civilization that preceded ours and was destroyed in 10,800 BC during the 100 year comet strikes (which ushered in the Younger Dryas Event and killed all the mega fauna).
They took their stuff and left - recently, in the past few thousand years, they have been returning - now they are getting a bit more aggressive.
One could be swamp gas or cow farts?
