When Biden eventually resigns, or by some other means is forced to step aside, who do you think a President Kamala Harris will pick as her VP?

Liz Warren, probably, or maybe one of the San Antonio twins whose name escapes me now. The other one could serve as his double in case anything happens. It won’t be another African-American. And after Tim Kaine (and Biden) it probably won’t be another goofy old White guy.

Gotta take down Texas. Julian Castro, former mayor of San Antonio and HUD Sec during Obummer’s presidency. That San Antonio city council is some hard left stuff. His twin brother represents San Antonio in Congress. When Julian suspended his 2020 presidential run he threw his support to Elizabeth Warren.

follow the example of Nixon/Ford. Nixon resigns Ford becomes President then nominates Rockefeller as VP.

If K. Harris becomes President, the tie-breaking vote in the Senate is gone. And that is why Joe Biden keeps playing Stayin' Alive at full volume over and over. Dr.Jill is sick of it.

Lurkinanloomin :" Cruz, Rubio, Jindal, Haley and most importantly George P. Bush are all ineligible
and are why the GOP will never uphold the Constitution."
Yeah, I think you are correct; there is already a precedent obfuscating the Constitutional law.

I thought when the President is absent the VP becomes acting President and the speaker of the house becomes acting VP? Until another election comes due?

John Kerry or Bernie Sanders... She’ll go for as close to commie as she can get while still pulling the wool over the eyes of her toadies in the press.

DOCTOR Jill Biden, that is the why she allows this elder abuse in propping him up for as president, she has something to gain.
The branding goes from Biden / Harris, to Harris / Biden, most Dems won’t even notice.

No. Pelosi is second in line for the presidency. So we get good ol’ Nancy as president if something happens to both Biden and Harris.
If something happens to Biden, Harris gets to pick her own VP.
If something happens to Harris, Biden gets to pick another VP.
Any VP pick must be confirmed by both Houses of Congress.

The constitution says that they need a majority of congress to approve a VP, iirc.
Since there will be no VP, Kamala cannot preside over the senate and break ties? Right?

My guess someone not threatening to run against her in 2024. Kerry comes to mind. But if it is a prelude to a 24 ticket, look for a hispanic from one of the Key states.
One of the Castro brothers from Texas come to mind (not the ones from Cuba!)

I don't think Biden will be gone until
1. DC becomes a state, bringing two more Dems to the Senate.
2. He has served a minimum of two years. That will allow Kamala to serve the remainder of his term and serve two additional full terms as President. (I personally don't think she would win even a single additional term, but I think they're delusional enough to think she can.) If Kamala completely embarrasses the Dems as President (which she will), the powers-behind-the-scenes will force her to step aside, thereby elevating her selected VP to become President.
