Need Help For Saving YouTube Songs

Posted on 05/12/2021 5:41:19 AM PDT by FrankieRaynor

Hello everyone. I want some help from all of you. Actually, I want to share music from my YouTube playlist with my niece. I searched the web and found this article about downloading music from YouTube. There are some suggestions, can anyone tell me which is the most reliable? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

TOPICS:
KEYWORDS: music; youtube

Don’t use Facebook, Youtube Google Twitter. They are the enemy of Liberty. There are alternatives.

“Bloggers & Personal” is not capable of holding a discussion on music?

Really?

You would probably be better off sharing links with your niece instead of the audio downloads. Those videos aren't going anywhere - there is money to be made by streaming them. In fact, interesting fact, all those videos we saw on MTV back in the 1980s are now cash cows for the music industry (thanks to Vevo). When they were first made, they were for the purpose of promoting record sales. Now they have become the product as nobody buys records (or CDs) anymore!

For better or worse, streaming is where the money's at in the music industry.

"Ripping" the sound from a music video on YouTube is easy enough to do (with any decent audio recorder like Audacity or EaseUS RecExperts) but technically illegal. Now I don't think anybody is going to bust your door down in the middle of the night for lifting the audio off YouTube videos but you would be committing copyright fraud.

Even if you were inclined to do so, it's probably more hassle than it's worth. Unless you are paying YouTube for a commercial free experience, you are going to have to probably edit out the ads manually.

Here’s another question: How can you upload a youtube song into your Spotify library?

YTMP3 is what I use, and it works nicely 98% of the time.

I have used MediaHuman’s “YouTube to MP3 Converter” for years and it not failed me once. Easy to use and fast, good quality output files. Just copy the YT URL, switch to the program, and convert.

Just copy the web address. Then in the program’s toolbar below you clock on Paste. It asks you what quality you want then downloads to where you want.

Reminds me of an industry I was in for awhile. I was in the Garbage business for a few years and we had several customers who had our dispatch as #1 on speed dial. They had nothing better to do with their lives except to watch and complain if a route driver was even five minutes late.

We had no regular pick up times, just a certain day. It was an exercise of extreme micromanagement because they had nothing more important to do other than to search out any small reason to complain about something. If you they are not a mod to put in the personal labor and effort to move it for such trivial classification then don’t bother with it. Unless you have OCD and need a fix.

like “personal”, what checklist approves only selective content as Personal? More bandwidth and labor and time is wasted than to just ignore the occasional even though it would probably fit anywhere as you say. OCD micromanagement is very unproductive sometimes. We used to tell our customers to “get a life”. :)

I went though this on my own forums and realized it was a futile effort to try and micromanage at a 100% ratio. I would have never gotten anything else done.

Playlists themselves are sharable, you just make it public or unlisted (which is public but doesn’t show up in any randos search) and email here a link that comes up when you hit Share arrow.

If you really must download there’s a million of them. Just put Download Youtube in your favorite search engine. There’s websites that convert, useful if you’re only doing a few. There’s browser add-ons that will add a button. Pick one and go for it, if you don’t like it, pick the next. I use https://savetomp3.net/ but again, million.
