Don’t use Facebook, Youtube Google Twitter. They are the enemy of Liberty. There are alternatives.

You would probably be better off sharing links with your niece instead of the audio downloads. Those videos aren't going anywhere - there is money to be made by streaming them. In fact, interesting fact, all those videos we saw on MTV back in the 1980s are now cash cows for the music industry (thanks to Vevo). When they were first made, they were for the purpose of promoting record sales. Now they have become the product as nobody buys records (or CDs) anymore!

For better or worse, streaming is where the money's at in the music industry.

"Ripping" the sound from a music video on YouTube is easy enough to do (with any decent audio recorder like Audacity or EaseUS RecExperts) but technically illegal. Now I don't think anybody is going to bust your door down in the middle of the night for lifting the audio off YouTube videos but you would be committing copyright fraud.

Even if you were inclined to do so, it's probably more hassle than it's worth. Unless you are paying YouTube for a commercial free experience, you are going to have to probably edit out the ads manually.

I have used MediaHuman’s “YouTube to MP3 Converter” for years and it not failed me once. Easy to use and fast, good quality output files. Just copy the YT URL, switch to the program, and convert.

Just copy the web address. Then in the program’s toolbar below you clock on Paste. It asks you what quality you want then downloads to where you want.

Playlists themselves are sharable, you just make it public or unlisted (which is public but doesn’t show up in any randos search) and email here a link that comes up when you hit Share arrow.

If you really must download there’s a million of them. Just put Download Youtube in your favorite search engine. There’s websites that convert, useful if you’re only doing a few. There’s browser add-ons that will add a button. Pick one and go for it, if you don’t like it, pick the next. I use https://savetomp3.net/ but again, million.
