I agree, it has not been “mandated” yet but we see it is heading that way. We’re in the “nudge” portion of getting the vaccine...some shaming, get free beer, get Yankees tickets, free food, etc. It might end there but I doubt it——next it will enter into the “shove” phase and you’ll be required “for your safety”.

Also, mandating vaccines is wrong. If you want to be protected then you get it-—but don’t force me. You buy car insurance to protect yourself not the other person.
Hard to believe anyone would take this guy seriously after he made a name for himself as one of the biggest Branch Covidian fearmongers a year ago.
None-the-less, the underlying point being made is valid when it comes to mandating vaccine shots and I am using ‘mandating’ loosely here given it will be done by varies ways and means, not necessarily via State or Federal Government...this rides all the way down to places of employment, etc.
I just dont understand the anti vaccine crowd? Are ya’ll just against science in general?
I can understand being against government mandated closures, I can understand being against government mandated mask requirements.
But I don’t understand being against science, or against a school district or private college deciding it wants to require its students to all be vaccinated against Polo, Measles, Covid or other dangerous diseases. Or against a private business deciding on its own to require masks, while others are free to make a different choice.
Science = good
Freedom = good
Government mandates coming from the federal or state level = bad
It’s really that simple for me.
If you have an issue with a private business on its own requiring masks, then you are free to go to a different business that doesn’t. That’s the free market, and we as conservatives shouldn’t be against that.

And, yes, it is Constitutional. States have the authority to regulate public health and they have in the past mandated vaccines. The classic case in this area of law, Jacobson v. Massachusetts in 1905, was decided by the Supreme Court after a smallpox outbreak.
Do you agree with a government mandate to undergo gene therapy for the purpose of generating a fleeting immunity to a disease that poses very little risk to the the individual?

I dont believe in government mandates of anything.
But I do believe that private entities can decide on their own, and that local school boards should be able to decide for themselves what they want to protect their own children from.
More ppl have died from the vaccine in 4 months — 3000 approximately— than in 15 years from all other vaccines put together. I simply don’t trust the govt or BigPharma when they insist everything is fine and then implore, beseech & cajole me to take a shot that hasn’t even been FDA approved yet. My hinky detector is going into warp speed actually. My healthcare decisions don’t affect you in any way, however, so feel free to get jabbed if you so choose.

It’s only constitutional if it’s an FDA approved vaccine. This is not. It’s available under the Emergency Use Authorization and for that reason nobody can be forced to take it against their will.
