St. Cloud is an hour and a half North/Northwest of the Twin Cities on I-94.
Do people still rob banks? Yeah I know, that’s where the money is. But almost every bank I go to has 4 inch bullet resistant glass and locked doors. I suppose you could hold the patrons hostage until the tellers slip enough bills under their little cubby hole windows but that takes too long and you’re much likelier to get caught waiting around for that.
I thought they defunded the police. Shouldn’t they call a social worker??

Anyway, it's pretty easy to rob a bank these days. Bank tellers are trained to not make a scene and simply hand cash over as if they were conducting a normal transaction. The object is to get the robber out of the bank as quickly and uneventfully as possible and let the police deal with it. In fact, in many robberies, other customers in the bank don't even realize that a robbery just happened.
That was crazy.
The use of the word “robber” offends many folks who are only trying to make undocumented withdrawals.
Lately it’s been trumpers. That lady from the villages who threw a whopper at the worker over a tomato for example.
