You have a few years on me. 1963 was the year I started to school.
I remember my Mother having the radio on in the kitchen while I ate breakfast. Seems like I heard “She Wore Blue Velvet” every morning . . . Bobby Vinton, right?

I went on a keto diet a couple years ago; lost about 25 pounds, in a month or 6 weeks, if I recall. Told my doctor about it; he was impressed, especially with my lower A1C. Now I hear him instructing other patients about the importance of low carb and keto diets, whereas his former instructions consistent mostly of telling patients to try eating less. (Of course, I’m sure he has other patients who told him about their experiences with a keto diet).
Yeah, if you fast long enough, your blood pressure gets real low — like zero

How does this relate to the proverbial notion of
skinny rats living longer? I need some rat pictures
to satisfy my scientific curiosity so as to verify my thoughts.
I’ve done keto a few times and still get about 58% of calories from fat, mostly good. Just read up yesterday on the “Fasting Mimicking Diet.” A quick search for “FMD gut bacteria” looks like good news. Also look at autophagy as a benefit of fasting.
thank you
#4 I can change my gut microbiota by eating pickled eggs and drinking beer.
Looks like you are making pickled beer.... : )
You're a true alchemist. "Pull my finger and I'll make everybody disappear."
