Stela Artois Beer comes in 11.2 oz. Cans and Bottles.

Everyone else uses 12 oz. Cans and Bottles.

What’s up with that?

11.2 (332ml) is the standard size outside the US. You bought the export version.

Costco supports liberals. You shouldn’t shop there.

Unfortunately most places support liberals. Mr. Pillow’s selection is mighty thin.

Dial soap is bad for your skin. Try Dove.

#5 I had noticed Dial soap was not lasting as long as I remembered and it would dissolve quicker.

That’s 1/3 of a liter. Common size for drinks in Europe.

I have old recipes calling for Jello pudding (Watergate Salad), Campbell’s soup (casseroles), etc. Since the contents are less now than in the past, things are a little “off” when cooking.

Can’t stand Dove. I feel like I took a bath in 10W-40.

I also recently realized that Pilsner Urquell now comes in 11.2 oz bottles.

It is still the same size bottle but if you look at the bottom of the bottle, there is now a dimple. So now, I will get 1.6 less 12-oz bottles per case bought.

Oh, my....I haven’t heard about Watergate salad, in decades. Mom and my aunt’s used to make that. Was it light green? Or, am I confusing it with another Jello pudding concoction?

:-)

When I was growing up, my mother made "homemade pizzas" something like this.

Take a dozen Thomas's English Muffins (with all the nooks and crannies) and slice them up. Put them on a large cookie sheet and coat with olive oil. Then pour Ragu tomato sauce over them. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and bake.

As kids, we gobbled those up and deemed it very good pizza.

Whenever I tell an authentic Italian about this recipe, they seem to have a heart attack.

Yes. It’s light green. Pistachio Pudding, Cool Whip, mini marshmallows, crushed pineapple, finely chopped walnuts if you want them. Delicious. (In no way is it a salad - LOL!)

Thank you! I just happen to have an unopened pack of fluffy flour tortillas on hand. Perfect. Now I just have to find the Greek seasoning. Sounds good!!!

The only deal there is the rotisserie chicken. Then leave.

As I type, I am nursing an 11.2 oz bottle of Guinness Stout. However, I understand that 11.2 oz is the European standard, but I distinctly remember 12 oz bottles - both at the same price now.

Indeed. I should have mentioned that is where I got mine. Probably available at lots of stores, but I have never looked. My buddy turned me on to it. Use it on grilled steaks, pork chops etc. too.
