The unnamed couple have dementia and Alzheimer's disease respectively. They successfully figured out the door code and walked out of the facility in Lebanon, Tennessee. They were found by a stranger about 30 minutes later and returned to the home. They were not harmed during the short excursion, which occurred on March 2.
The man later explained that he had "previously worked with Morse code in the military" and had used that experience to decipher the code to open the door leave, according to a report from the Tennessee Board For Licensing Health Care Facilities.
The facility in question, Elmcroft of Lebanon, has been fined $2,000 following the incident and has changed all the codes for its exits.

read # 19. They stopped that different tone thing many years ago except for phones.
“I am glad they did not make it to walmart”
In Loveland, Colorado.
The theme song was composed by Burt Bacharach, and is called Nikki. He wrote it for his daughter.
No, it isn’t a fact, unless you are his physician and are violating HIPAA. It’s a function of your creative thought.
Have you ever had close experience with anyone with Alzheimer’s?
pretty sure that would be an enigma to me...
there’s two sides to every story.
My husband would have been happy to bring his mother to live with us- but not lift a finger to take care of her.
That would have been on me- and no way I would have as she treated me so poorly when i was around her.
She went to a nursing home after getting herself into 135,000 in debt. She lost a paid off house. No one knows where the money went.
I don’t think i should have been punished because she lived irresponsibly.
Some. Here in Hollywood, I spoke with an old dude who worked with mCQueen on Bullitt and was on the set of The Getaway’. The stories he told were “colorful”.
Good one!
Exactly right. His Morse experience is a completely irrelevant bit of bulls#it that he fed to supposedly smart people and the fact that they bought it tells us all we need to know about who is mentally impaired here.
That has happened to me.
Because of depression after being forced to move to Canada, I began drinking.
Went into the hospital over a year ago. They finally discharged me; the wait was long because my husband was looking for a place for me to live.
At first, I will be the first to admit that I was not well.
But after a year of pretty much sobriety (husband took control of my bank accounts so I have little to spend), I am not the same person. I am capable of managing my work and affairs.
Getting my power back will be an uphill battle. Have to see a psychiatrist and “health care professionals”...who have my life in their hands.
Please pray for me. It’s my only hope.
That is true.., my sons SO made the decision to keep her mother in one after she had done a rehab after surgery.. There is no reason for the woman to be there, she is oriented and communicates well, needs a little help getting around, nothing that a home health aide couldnt handle.. ..but that would require the daughter to find help and make arragements and cover for the aide if she couldnt make it.. KARMA can be a B*tch
In her last year, my sister would call me to come pick up her and her friends so they could escape from memory care and go to Vegas. I would say “sure I will be right down” and then just continue whatever I was doing. She would forget her plans almost immediately.
So Bruce Wayne is in a nursing home now.🤔
Your reasoning is completely understandable

Nowadays, they would use CGI or whatever it is to create that stunt. The millennials would not notice the difference.
Or he didn't want to let on how he did it and is pulling the reporter's leg.
Going from door code to morse code, probably because they both have the word code, is just the kind of mental divergence that would occur in someone with dementia.
Yeah, maybe he bribed an aide.
Oh absolutely... Good to hear! Keep on keeping on! Good for you and hang in there! Never give up! :)
