A Memorial Day weekend, about 30 years ago, I was driving from Ohio to DC.

Friday night about 10 o’clock I pulled over to get gas in Breezeway, PA and all these motor cycle guys pulled in.

I thought “Crap, Hell’s Angels guys.”

Two walked up to me, offered to pump my gas and were sweet as can be. It was Rolling Thunder!

Lost for words that won't get me banned. I participated in The Run For The Wall years back. It is the name for all the Veteran bikers coming from all over the country to meet in DC for Rolling Thunder. It was one of the most rewarding things I ever did.

Our SoCal local group was escorted through towns and the police made sure certain gas stations could accommodate us when needed. They would even stop cars at green lights so we could stay together. We thanked those patriotic cops many times over and even bought them food&drinks. When one LE jurisdiction ended, another would help us in the next town. It was glorious!

I only made it to New Mexico because of obligations, but visited the Navajo Nation Window Rock Capitol. They lined the streets as we pulled in and couldn't be more gracious. They were all waving American flags.

The U.S. Department of Defense has denied a parking permit to the American Veterans or AmVets to stage a rallying point at the Pentagon ending a 32-year-old tradition on Memorial Day weekend for Rolling To Remember.

I fear that even the military is lost. So when conservatives refuse to serve in the military for an illegitimate President and a government who hates them - who will take their place?
