The fedgov is going to subsidize electric and penalize carbon to the extent that is will be uneconomical to have a gasoline car or natural gas house.

The real worry behind some of the plutocrats is that fuel resources will be depleted soon by an increasing world population and hundreds of millions of added drivers.
They should decrease commuting distances by ceasing their policies that include moving employees back and forth across the country so much. Give employees each time to adjust to one locale and find homes closer to work.
Don’t be so picky about employees. We don’t need university degrees for every kind of job. Many people without degrees are more literate, self-educated and motivated towards lifelong learning than many without degrees, contemporary journalism being a case in point.
The thing about Scotty is that if you tied his arms down, he would likely be totally mute.
Between his windmilling arms and his shrill voice I find him nearly unwatchable, even though he can be very informative

Electric cars are the same as the ethanol scam, it requires more energy from fossil fuels to produce a unit of ethanol than a unit of ethanol provides. Batteries need to be recharges and that electrical power will be generated by burning fossil fuels. Both are being sold as “more environmentally friendly”. Hog wash!! It’s all a scam and it’s all about government’s control over us!

The problem with electric cars is the miles of extension cords you have to buy to drive anywhere.
Not to mention the environmental havoc wreaked by mining for battery raw materials.

These problems are real, but there is one fundamental reason electric cars are coming: they are cheaper.
Electricity is cheaper than gas, and an electric powertrain is simpler than an ICE. At minimum it is very attractive to fleet operators.
