I’m done with Star Wars after the firing of Gina Carrano, but Ewen McGregor was absolutely fantastic as a younger Obi-Wan.

The only Star Wars movie worth watching was the first one.

Prequels were bad then and they are bad now.
Just because the Sequels are awful doesn’t make I, II or III any better.
“The Empire Strikes Back” is the lynch pin that holds this house of cards together.

Enough with the Star War’s sequels. In fact enough with all the sequels. Is Hollyweird so bereft of original material as to keep rehashing the old ones?
Not that I’m going to pony up for theatre tix.,

I watched those prequels as a kid and I didn’t hate them but even I know they weren’t as good as the originals. Better than Disney sequels though so that’s something

Actually, the action animated series of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels were pretty damn good.
Much better, actually, than the prequel movies they were based on.

Ewan McGregor was the only good thing about the prequels. Well, a lot of the visuals, sound FX, and music were pretty great.
The wooden acting, awful story, and terrible dialogue weren’t the fault of the actors.

Star Wars had a ramshackle charm all the others simply do not. Lucas was coming off American Graffiti and there's a lot of that film's American spirit in Star Wars. It's a little goofy, with tongue-in-cheek nods to the old serials. But for the groundbreaking special effects, it feels low-budget, in the best way, with everything down to the last penny up there on the screen.

This from the jackass who took the time, trouble and expense to get American citizenship ... just so he could vote
against Trump.
He's obviously wants the rest of the world to have the same degree of social decay as he's accustomed to back home in Scotland.

The prequels should be burned in a dumpster, just like the Disney Star Wars garbage.
