A Virginia attorney says police destroyed her unlocked front door and ransacked her house based on a bogus search warrant, all as an act of retaliation...
Three days prior to the raid, Reynolds' stepson was acquitted of murder charges. Reynolds represented her stepson in the case. The lawsuit says the acquittal "sparked outrage in the Roanoke law enforcement community."

Judges are a member of the government, and they have low regard for you smelly citizens.
As Reason’s editor defends its racist history, here’s a copy of its holocaust denial “special issue”
“The German concentration camps weren’t health centers, but they appear to have been far smaller and much less lethal than the Russian ones.”
—Reason magazine, January 1976 Last weekend, I wrote about how Reason magazine — and their backers, the Koch brothers — was supporting a major push to further sell Silicon Valley on the “virtues” of libertarianism.
After I exposed Reason’s history as a publisher of racist, pro-apartheid South Africa articles during the 1970s, the current editor-in-chief, Matt Welch, answered back in what must stand as one of the most bizarre responses imaginable....
Excellent Observation.
Was it a valid search or a mistake search. If it was a mistake, did you institute a law suit and get a financial settlement?
Um, nope. Re-read the article. Two different people.
How do you know the son-in-law was a criminal? Or does “innocent until proven guilty” no longer matter? Also do you have complete faith in government prosecutors? Ever dealt with a bad cop? I generally support police. But I have also dealt with bad cops.
Why do you hate America?
Judges are routinely lied to by law enforcement agencies. Look how many judges were lied to by the FBI in the phony FISA warrant scandal. Look how many judges were lied to as officials tried to frame General Flynn, Roger Stone, and many others.
You have to know these judges are not idiots. They know they’re signing off on false phony and fraudulent search warrants. Witchhunts if you please, they just do not care.
If congress could get together and pass one law and get rid of those silly ninja-paramilitary outfits, I think it would help to remind the cops that they’re one of us. But dividing us from them is the whole point of the dress party isn’t it?
No, it was not a valid search. We were never given any credible explanation or any type of apology. It was a screw up from top to bottom and the only thing we received was stonewalling; I assume because they feared that any admission of their incredible stupidity would have come back to bite them. We did not contact an attorney or claim any damages; we picked up the mess and did our best to fix what was broken. Most people do not because lawyers are typically more trouble than they are worth.
Q: So, what do you call a thousand lawyers chained together at the bottom of the ocean?”
A: A good start.
If congress could get together and pass one law and get rid of those silly ninja-paramilitary outfits.
I tend to agree with you. When we would accompany the police on drug lab raids, those who wore the costumes, even our own paramedics who drilled with police, tended to transform in a negative way. Of course the biggest problem we had while I was working was our bat sh!t crazy police chief. He shot his wife and himself in front of his children. His wife was two of our best firends’ daughter and also a friend of ours. When you have leadership like that it trickles down. The current sheriff in Pierce County is a disgrace; he appointed his best non-cop friend, a scam artist and repeat felon to be the head of our local Crime Stoppers. It’s a joke!
“ATF involved. “
F-Troop. They absolutely hate that nickname.
It is quite interesting that I have not heard of any dog shootings by a$$hole LEO for quite some time!
If the SoL has not run, put a hungry lawyer on it!
