After this P.C.-mad missive came across my computer, I just had to write a response.
My company provides services to insurance carriers. Recently, a large, nationally operational third-party administrator issued a directive, excerpts of which I have included.
Hello Team,
We wanted to send out a note regarding this, as the Carriers do not want to see the word "tranny" or "trans" manually entered when referring to a transmission or transmission fluid as it is a Political Correctness issue. We understand that it has been used for a while and is considered industry slang however, in today's society it can rub some the wrong way and create legal issues. Please be make sure going forward you are not using these slangs on your estimate.
If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.
After about three minutes of thoughtful consideration, I dashed off the following in response.
In a world of insane hyper-sensitivity, wouldn't the phrase "rub some the wrong way" also have sexual overtones for those sad people that have nothing better to do than see if they can figure out a way to be offended? Instead, normal, high-functioning people ought to rise up and tell that sad 1% of the easily offended to go and piss up a rope. Tired of the P.C. BS.
Having been in business for over 35 years, I can afford to make such pronouncements in protest to a world gone crazy. I do so on behalf of all of the younger people and their fledgling businesses who are afraid to stand up to this nonsense and fight back.

I am so happy that I am retired!
I know men who won’t ride an elevator alone with a woman. I never get in one alone with a child.
Incredible...
I never showed up.
If a 200 pound Navy vet wants to grow his hair long, wear mini-skirts with heels and call himself Sandra - that's his problem, not mine.
I've got work to do.
Just call them Bruce Jenners problem solved. Hat tip; Zip ties and bias plys.
None of our offices cant be seen into with door closed. Window walls...
Hopefully more and more people will follow you and fight the absurdity.
He was probably walked out the door and an H1B was issued to replace him. Such is the way of corporate America 2021
Used to be called Danny but became "Danielle".
The women in the office "swooned" over Danielle and went out of their way to make this person feel like one of them. We men treated "Danielle" okay but no way did we consider she/he a real woman. For one thing, Danielle was over 6 feet tall and looked ridiculous tottering around in high heels.
Looked like Robert Plant in a dress.
I had a friend that lost his tenure track position because a female student said, without proof, that he made suggestive comments to her. He was able to show she was lying but was still not renewed.
I do not miss the university job setting.
I’m offended by your choice of words here. I feel the word “juice” should only be used to refer to fruits and vegetables. It’s a good, kind and healthy word, but you’ve turned it into a horrible and nasty reference to a petroleum based product. Please don’t use the word juice unless you are specifically referring to the juice of fruits and vegetables.
ALSO... your use of the word “Shift” offends me because it seems you are putting down those who work shifts in order to survive.
ALSO... your use of the period at the end of the sentence offends me because you’re obviously a cis gendered white male who has no idea what it’s like to to actually have a period!
There’s a blast from the past..
Muncie M-22 Rock Crusher tranny...
Use of clutch is optional..
I agree.
I once was called out for refusing to meet with a woman behind closed doors alone.
But not by that person, someone else.
The lady on my team understood, and honestly felt it was best anyway (engineers are like that).
This PC crap can happen to women too. My wife had a friend who in middle age divorced her brute husband, went back to school and got her degree and teaching certificate. Her first job involved supervising the kids riding the bus. She made the mistake of restraining one little black boy by putting her hand on his shoulder. Evidently, touching a misbehaving child was not permitted. She was fired.
Her next job was at an all minority school. All the other teachers and the principal were black. She got along well with most of the teachers and she was pleased with her students’ progress, but her principal took every opportunity to criticize her: the ABCs on the wall were hung in the wrong place; the displays she had worked hard on were not appropriate; she spent more than six minutes on each lesson topic; etc, etc. (Can you believe a teacher’s lesson plan had to be in 6 minute segments?) Anyway the principal made it plain that a white teacher should not teach black children. By the end of the fall term, she couldn’t stand it anymore and quit.
That was the end of her teaching career. No one would hire her. She went to work at WalMart. Eventually, she sought better wages and was hired as a prison guard. The stories coming out of that job were not pretty.
Your homo is broken. $1,800 to repair or $2,500 to replace.
Around here, facial hair is popular with trannies and non-binaries.
I think the directive is commonsense self-protection for that business. In this case, the complainer is the one being thin-skinned. People get fired for all kinds of totally false accusations these days. Why give them ammunition in a business that is completely inconsequential to the left’s pet causes?
As far as I know now(I am retired mechanic)the words “trans” & tranny” are still commonly used here in the automotive businesses. Of course, we are a smaller town & maybe not yet “woke” to the foolish crap that goes on in some places. There’s just too much of this stuff going on from what I am reading, but we really don’t see it that much here..thank goodness.
A fresh coat of paint can fix that ;-)
