Why should any white cop go after a black perp now. It’s not worth the hassle. They tend to kill other blacks anyway.
Orlando police have a policy to not to engage in hot pursuit in downtown Orlando. Now they have street racers downtown, especially on motorcycles but also in small low riders with the nasty sounding exhaust.
Many police have rules to not engage in high speed chases. They might still give chase until the car their chasing starts speeding or driving erratically, then they stop pursuit.

Never stops the media from deliberately omitting information to inflame the situation, and people on both the Left and the Right (including many right here on this forum) from jumping on it and declaring the cops should all be fired. It would be nice if, gee. There was some more information before people started screaming the cops are bad, need to be fired, etc. I expect that fully from the Leftists. It disappoints me to see it from conservatives. Full disclosure: I have fallen prey to it on this very forum too, before I learned my lesson and learned to wait for the FULL video or the FULL story, not what CNN WANTS you to see.
I wonder if BLM and Antifa get air miles for all the traveling they do?

If they haven’t issued them, either the department is corrupt or they are fools. Cameras help indict the guilty and save the careers of honest officers as well as suppress rioting over poor media reporting.

Many conservatives still tend to still look at the Internet as a tool for communication, information, commerce, and entertainment.
Our enemies (and these people who are doing this are indeed domestic enemies of ANY real American) don’t look at the Internet the same way.
They see it as a tool to destroy this country and pit people against each other. And they are using it effectively.
Rumors, riots and slanted news happen a lot faster than any investigation can. Conviction in a court of public opinion only takes a matter of hours.
I remember the first reports on Trayon Martin made it seem as if a little kid walking down the street was inexplicably shot and killed.
Here “driving away” probably entails driving toward officers with the possibility of running them down.
Just as the Nazis did with radio and newsreels, the old guard had their newspapers, but the Nazis did an endround on them to get the message out and galvanize the masses.
And damn, that worked well for them in the short run, that is for sure. That is a parallel you accurately point out. I hadn’t considered that.
Look how they exploited the killing of a low-level functionary in Paris in 1938.
We have about a third of a billion people in the USA. We are going to have millions of encounters each year between police and non-white people. Perhaps thousands of officer-involved shootings a year. Of that, maybe a dozen or two become “outrageous” to the Democrat mobs. It is amazing how few news-worthy cases there are, given how large this country is.
Unfortunately, even complying can mean dying with some of the officers we have these days.
