Biden praises Derek Chauvin murder conviction, blames US for ‘systemic racism’
President Biden on Tuesday praised the conviction of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for murdering George Floyd, but also accused the United States of deep-seated “systemic racism” as he said the guilty verdict was “too rare.”
“It was a murder in the full light of day, and ripped the blinders off for the whole world to see the systemic racism the vice president just referred to. The systemic racism is a stain on our nation’s soul,” Biden said in an evening speech broadcast from the White House.
“The knee on the neck of justice for black Americans, profound fear and trauma. The pain the exhaustion, and black and brown Americans experience every single day.

As a person with not a racist bone in his body, I object to this goofball stating that there is systemic racism in this country. There are perhaps thousnds or perhaps millions of us who have never displayed any racism during their lives. You, however, have. Do not try to bring us into your sin. We have never displayed any of the things that you are attributing to us. People like you are the problem.

There was no evidence nor mention whatsoever of racism in the trial. This should have been nothing more than a local news story of extreme police brutality resulting in a death. And there certainly was no reason for the President of the United States and the Vice President to be involved.
I got the perfect fix. Let’s ALL, identify as BlACK. Since it isn’t skin pigment tone, but identity, as we can be a woman, or we can identify as a man? Why don’t we all just from now forward check BLACK in the box, and we can all be one united American Family. Sounds like a great fix.
Don't go by states. There are no Blue States, only states with 1-2 cities that got too large. Don't consign the eastern half of the West coast states, or the lower 95% of Illinois, or western NY, or many other places to Liberal Tax Hell just because you want to keep the map with the same lines.
Unfortunately only the well informed (non woke, non state indoctrinated) know this, and that is sad for our society.

I didn’t watch the entire thing, but saw clips of both speeches. They practically said the exact same thing but use slightly different words to claim it was “different”. At least Harris was able to sneak in a normal tone throughout the entire speech without stumbling, Unlike Biden he stumbled over half the words and did his trademark yelling then whispering into the microphone before wandering off.
So much for healing and unity. You got your “justice” in the guilty verdict then immediately turn around and clean systemic racism. Which one is it? If there’s a systemic racism promise this country, Why wasn’t he acquitted on all charges?
Exactly 💯. I have experienced being passed over, thankfully, for a union position in the union my dad was a pipefitter in because I wasn’t “black enough”. Exact words! They wanted me in the union but couldn’t because they had to hire a female and a black. My dad was beyond pissed and the good news is I started my own company that exceeds the income I’d have ever made with that union job. Best news is I can be selective with my clients and I charge significantly more for obvious leftists and people of color that inject any sort of bias or opinions that I disagree sith.
