I’ve seen a study that says trust in the technology is inversely related to your age. The older you are, the more likely you are to keep your hands on the wheel even if the car can practically drive itself. Younger people besides being immortal trust the tech to work perfectly.

Not to get all SJW, but examples abound of technologies that don't perform accurately for people with darker skin. A study from Georgia Tech found that people of color were more likely to be hit by driverless cars because object detection systems they use to recognize pedestrians don't work as well on people with darker skin.

I don't want a "smart car" that mows down my fellow citizens because some woke affluent Big Media jackwad from MIT can't properly assemble a balanced dataset.
