Well, I’m just ‘discussing’ too.
If anyone here thinks that that the IRS, and any number of the alphabet agencies, doesn’t have their tentacles into your ‘crypto stuff’ already, you’re kidding yourselves.
I certainly fully expect they do - just like a brokerage account.
They treat it as capital gains just like other investments. I’ve paid cap gains on Bitcoin since 2014.
Keep waiting for correction to buy and it never comes.
Glad I have my 500 coins in at .05 but wish I had more.
