BREAKING: Medical expert testifies George Floyd died from sudden cardiac arrhythmia brought on by heart disease and drugs during restraint by police
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
Please be aware that all the prosecution witnesses (medical etc) were paid for their testimony.
Prepare to endure the riots coming across the county in the wake of acquittal in this trial.
No.
He was dead from the moment he swallowed his inventory. Not a thing that anyone could have done to save him.
Can’t we blame his death on homophobia or transphobia? Or inadequate funding of school lunch programs for children of color?
No big deal. They are going to riot no matter what the verdict is.
I thought trial was over already and the jury in deliberations................
Good questions there, AUG. And here’s my question: Would Floyd still have died if he hadn’t been restrained for as long as he was?
Because Floyd was restrained even after he stopped talking and moving. And even after he evidently pissed himself. And even after another cop checked Floyd‘s pulse, and found none. That’s the thing about this whole mess that bothers me.
So I guess I get to say it again: I told you so.
** Would he have died that day due to the police restraint if he did not have drugs in his system? **
Not from my actual experience. I chose to try it out. My assistant had one of a four point stance on the back of my neck. Not even close to closing my windpipe or major arteries. You breathe with your diaprahm. If your lungs are in decent condition, you should be able get through with nothing more than some very minor bruising and possibly a visit to the chiro.

Isn’t that usually true for expert defense witnesses as well?
Would he have died if he hadn’t passed a counterfeit $20 bill that day?
Never did I hear him say that anything hurt.
He was the catalyst for his own death.
The guy was a major criminal, had spent time in prison....a druggie and a bum...
Actually, last week, the defense attorney got State witnesses to agree that was a possibility on cross examination. The Legal Insurrection site has a daily analysis that is really good and easy to follow for non-lawyer types like me.
This judge is a moron. Ito the second. The phony case should have been dismissed at the end of the prosecution and the judge should have ripped the prosecutor and DA a new one.
Imagine if the judge HAD thrown it out. Talk about burning cities. Also, he and his family would have to go under a witness protection plan.
I see him as the equivalent of Pontius Pilate:
Luke 23:13-16
Pilate then called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, and said to them, “You brought me this man as one who was misleading the people. And after examining him before you, behold, I did not find this man guilty of any of your charges against him. Neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us. Look, nothing deserving death has been done by him. I will therefore punish and release him.”
But we know that was not acceptable to the crowd. In this case, it WILL go to a jury decision. We just hope they are not equally intimidated.
Well, absent the encounter with police, he still would have had more than 3x the lethal dose of Fentanyl along with all the underlying medical conditions.
The ME admitted in a memo that was entered into evidence that if Floyd had been discovered dead in his bed, he wouldn’t have had any problems concluding that he died of a drug overdose complicated by underlying pulmonary and cardiac disease.
The last time he was arrested his blood pressure was 216/160
Yes, I was exposed to LR here yesterday. Great stuff. Reminds me of Conservative Treehouse before the Zimmerman case.
Would Floyd have died that day if he hadn't passed a counterfeit twenty dollar bill?
Would Floyd have died that day if he hadn't consumed copious quantities of drugs?
Would Floyd have died that day if he hadn't resisted arrest?
If I were on the jury, I’d want to hear expert opinions on these questions.
The prosecutors rested.
